lovely hotel very clean and food good plenty of choice. Busy but still able to get food and drinks with not much queuing ( like some reviews say ) no problems. entertainment not that good at night ( sound problems ) and i think mini disco should be on earlier. lovely having 7 pools ( wished they were not so deep ) i’m only 5’ 2 “ there was a quiet pool by our block Quinta but really needs sign up to say adults only because some children are very noisy (only normal ) my grandchildren were with us age 8 and 3 they went into the other pools ( more fun for them ) all said we had great time an location was great
We stayed for a a 7 night stay, the outside of the hotel has a warm welcoming feel. We arrived to the hotel at around 14:15pm (transfer time form airport is around 1 hour 20mins) reception is welcoming, warm and has a very relaxing atmosphere, however on check in we were then told it was till 15:00pm so we were happy to wait and went to the snack bar and got a drink come 15:00pm our room still wasn't ready and wasn't ready again until 15:55pm as you can imagine after flying and being in the heat we were sweaty and feeling dirty. Our room was a little set back from the pool areas which were perfect, the rooms were nice and clean, air con worked perfectly and the rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels we had no complaints.
There is a wide range of pools to choose from and our daughter loved them all however, two of the main pools are very deep at 1.9 Meters and 2.3 Meters and the slides led into the 1.9 Meters my daughter can swim but didn't feel comfortable going down the slides or swimming without a ring in these pools, they are way to deep. The pool to the side was much party and we spent the majority of the time in that one, at night around the pools were left in a mess with floats and toys which let it down quite a bit, also let it down was the people reserving sun beds from 05:00AM in the morning even though it says not to reserve which was annoying, we attended breakfast and never had an issue getting sunbeds apart from when day.
The food was hit and miss, it was great but wasn't awful, was annoying that they would have nice food but not much to make a meal, i.e., chilli but no rice? which got annoying.
The entertainment was fab and we cant complain on any of it, it was brilliant every night.
The area was ok with the beach a short work away however the beach was absolutely rubbish and very rocky, Cala N Bosch is a short walk away 10 minutes and is much better and nicer and the harbour is lovely it really comes to life at the evening.
As many have put this isn't a four star hotel and is more of a three star.
Seems things that could be improved it is the area around the pool at night, the food, and better control of sunbeds, apart from this we had a super holiday together, but we wouldn't return to Menorca due to how expensive it is when there.
Firstly, my advice would be to ignore every negative review - especially regarding food/drink system...
Drinks:
On the drink system, personally I think that this amazing. The token/drink system means the hotel is one of the cleanest I've ever had the pleasure of staying at. No stray cups, no errant plastics and staff who are focused on serving their customers as opposed to having to clean up mess!
Food:
When it comes to the food, there was always a massive salad bar as well as hot offerings. Some reviews mentioned cold food? This seems absurd considering the 2-3 chefs who were cooking fresh and to order every night!
Location:
The location of this hotel is fantastic. Even with a pram, the local beach is approx. 2-3minute walk from the back entrance of the hotel, and the Marina is approx. 8-10 minute walk. The Marina (which we visited 2 days running) is full of shops selling souvenirs, trinkets and the necessities as well as yacht side restaurants with tapas galor. Furthermore, simply a 2 minute step away is another stunning, sandy beach to enjoy swimming, castle building or even snorkeling.
Facilities:
We travelled with a 4 year old, and this hotel had so much to offer! The splash park, slides and multiple pools were on the agenda every day. But what we didn't expect was his excitement to attend the on-site kids club daily. The younger club, based central in the hotel ran a range of activities and games for children up to 5 years old. Initially as a nervous parent, we only let him join in for 30 minutes (with 10 minute checkins), however it got to the point that he was excited daily to find out what they would be doing next and by the end of the week, he was attending for much longer. Credit to the kids club team and thank you for your kindness and care.
Overall:
Our stay at Sol Falco was amazing. Without a doubt, we would recommend this hotel (and already have). Thank you to all involved in our magical family holiday.
This was our first visit to this hotel, and it certainly didn’t disappoint.
We booked through TUI as a family of five, which meant we originally had to reserve two separate rooms. On arrival, we asked if it would be possible to have interconnecting rooms, and the reception staff changed this for us without any issues, which was a great start to our holiday.
The hotel and pool areas were spotless. Every morning there were teams of cleaners working hard to keep everything immaculate. We were up early having 3 children so didn’t find getting us beds any problem, there seemed enough to go around.
The food in the main restaurant was excellent, with plenty of choice and themed evenings that catered for everyone. The pool bar menu was a little repetitive, but we’ve found that’s fairly typical at most all-inclusive hotels.
A great idea the hotel uses is a token system for drinks cups. You exchange your token for a cup at the bar and then swap the used cup back for either a clean one or your token. It worked really well and kept the pool area tidy, with no discarded cups attracting flies.
All of the staff were friendly, welcoming and always happy to help.
The beach is less than a five-minute walk away and is absolutely beautiful. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, and the harbour is only around a ten-minute walk. It’s well worth a visit, especially in the evening.
We didn’t spend much time watching the evening entertainment, but there seemed to be a good variety of shows and activities on offer.
A few tips for future visitors:
● If you enjoy a cup of tea first thing in the morning, bring a travel kettle, as it’s €3 per day to hire one.
● If you’re travelling with young children, take armbands or other swimming aids, as the pools are quite deep.
● There’s a handy shop in the hotel that sells pool toys, inflatables and other essentials if you need anything during your stay.
Overall, we had a fantastic holiday and wouldn’t hesitate to return. We’d happily recommend this hotel to families looking for a clean, friendly hotel in a great location.
This has been a fabulous holiday for 5 adults and 3 children. I emailed the hotel before we came asking for adjacent room near the splash pool, and they certainly ticked that box, thank you !! You have made our once in a lifetime holiday exceptional!!!
My suggestions to improve the hotel would be to implement some sort of app/system to communicate with the guests. We had 2 power cuts during our stay but heard nothing from the hotel. There was also a sudden change in the rules regarding inflatables in the pool - which coincided with a meeting of the company execs!
The pools are deep, so bring inflatable rings, although there are plenty of goggles and inflatables left from other guest. Also umbrellas for shade again we acquired 3 during our stay.
The food- the buffet is plentiful and varied, and there are tables inside and out. It can get busy, so pick your times to avoid the rush. There is wine and glasses available during lunch and dinner.
We had gold bands because we booked large family rooms, so we could have bottles of wine rather than draft at meal times and we could queue separately for the bar ( which was a blessing as the queues did get big at some times)
Room was cleaned to a good standard and beds were made daily, we stayed in mansion and another family in our group stayed in hacienda they had ants and found a couple of cockroaches which the hotel arranged it be cleaned immediately , but we had no issues in our room. Apart from the fact the air conditioning kept going off in the middle of the night and we would wake up sweating with condensation on the mirrors. The aircon was very on and off. Power cut during one of the days meant we couldn’t get certain drinks this was not communicated well by management only passed on by word of mouth from other holidaymakers. Understand Spanish is the main language spoken, but a lot of Italian was spoken and French, and hardly any English which meant sometimes we did not understand what was going on with entertainment especially for the kids.
However the entertainment staff were fantastic real stars of the hotel ! Shows were very good enjoyed them all . I don’t feel this is a 4 star hotel , buffet was very hit and miss some days lots of variety other days not so much not many choices for children and yesterday had 3 trays of Brussels sprouts !! Pools good but too deep and at one pint floats were banned from the water then unbanned very confusing . Never see the jet 2 rep seemed to be more signage and engagement from altos and club corralia would ah e loved some more involvement from let 2 being more visible and more information on excursions the information was mainly Spanish french or Italian so could not see or understand what was available and when asked they were fully booked. Overall hotel more of a 3 star but great hardworking entertainers could not fault them and one in particular really tried to make sure we were involved speaking English aswell as Italian French n Spanish very impressive when doing the sangria making yesterday.
Pools too deep couldn’t enjoy slides as was in one for 1.9 metres too deep too stand up n support a child .
My wife, daughter and I stayed here in July and whilst this hotel has some elements which would merit a four-star rating, it fell short in other areas.
On the plus side, the hotel has excellent swimming pools and lovely grounds, gardens, and is near a really nice beach. Our room was clean, and whilst quite basic, did have the essentials. Food was mostly good although quite repetitive. They did have branded Coca-Cola drinks on tap and you could also fill drinks bottles at one of the many mineral water stations in the complex.
The staff were excellent but unfortunately there just weren't enough of them.
The biggest issue was the air conditioning. In our room. It was very weak and only marginally got better in the second half of our stay. One night was so bad that we asked for a couple of electric fans which they promised would be delivered to our room, but never arrived. In the main building the air conditioning was almost non-existent. Hence, with the weather being so warm outside, it was very difficult to find anywhere inside to keep cool.
Another issue was that in the restaurant area you are left to find your own table. With a four-star rating, we would have expected this hotel to assigner us a table rather than having to battle with other holiday guests, walking up and down the restaurant, just to find a clear table. There were not enough staff to clear the tables and relay them.
Sadly, on one evening a piece of chicken teriyaki that I thankfully didn't eat, was raw in the middle.
Whilst it's good the hotel provides lifeguards, it would be beneficial if they could make their signage clear for the water slides. Our daughter fell foul of one of the rules, because it was not clear to us that she couldn't use the middle green slide. Once the lifeguard clarified the situation, we were happy to oblige - with our daughter using the outer two slides instead.
All the staff were polite and courteous, but this is a hotel where you are very much left to your own devices. When the hotel experienced a power cut one evening, there was no sign of any management to advise guests of what had happened. Instead, it was a waiter who told us.
One element the hotel did really well was with its entertainment staff, who are all very enthusiastic and engaging with the young ones. Our daughter particularly enjoyed mini disco. They also laid on many other activities for guests to participate in. This added quite a lot of fun to our holiday.
Overall, this is a hotel which has potential but needs to take a much more personal approach with its guests. Whilst the facilities may merit this hotel being a four-star, the service and their approach to looking after their guests (plus the weak air conditioning), unfortunately doesn't.
We went here with a child that can’t swim and one that isn’t a great swimmer and to our misfortunes all pools were incredible deep and weren’t even able to use the slides as the slide pool was 1.90 m deep and weren’t able to stand in it to catch the children we ended using all week the only pool small enough 1.50 m deep that was overly crowded so to the same reason, the room cleanliness wasn’t the greatest, in 7 nights spent there our bedding was only changed once , we run out of hand soap on the second day and the staff never replaced it as couldn’t be bothered to check on it the floors were constantly dirty and there were mould in the bathroom, there is only one bar serving the drinks and constantly massive queues many times to ended not getting a drink because of it and the big majority of the staff including the entertainment team could not speak English the children’s had no idea what it was happening end ended leaving early from the she because of it!
The hotel was absolutely spotless the rooms was basic but had plenty of space for our things and our grandaughter, the food was good plenty of choice, now the negatives the pools are to deep we ended up at the side pool all week, twice we at to get our beds changed due to loads of ants In both beds give the hotel they sorted it out twice the entertainment we didn't see. our grandaughter cried as the minI disco was so loud hurt her ears we did go to reception even after that it was unbelievable loud even for us we wouldn't return
Just returned from our holiday with our grandchildren, daughter and partner.
I had reservations with being an all-inclusive stay and noticed some negative reviews.. but I have to say everything about this hotel is pretty good and extremely well organised..
Firstly the rooms aren’t massive but absolutely fine for 2 adults and a child. The shower room was big and shower quite powerful with shower gel and shampoo fixed to the wall. Rooms were cleaned every day to an adequate standard.. Beds I thought were very comfortable with a small tv on the wall but only one English news channel which was fine for us.
Balcony quite small but ok and handy for letting towels dry on the line provided. No kettle but you can hire one and also there is a charge for the safe.
We stayed at the Mansion block on first floor behind the relaxing pool which was lovely and quiet. Please note no lifts but only ground and first floor rooms.
Pools were lovely and so many to choose from.
They are deep but the the big oblong pool is 1.50m in depth. This is about as shallow as it gets for a swim I’m 5ft 6 and could stand up which was nice. splash park very good for the little ones.. armbands and Swim jackets advised at the main pool with water slides are 2.30m-other side 1.90m in depth. You have to keep an eye on them when using the water slides to check no-one comes down and lands on a child at the bottom of the slide..
Pool towels provided and they give you a card to change them every 3 days before 10.30am at the clubhouse.
Food all-inclusive was good bare in mind you’re never going to get restaurant quality with any all-inclusive but I enjoyed the chicken wings and everything was better than I expected.. I’m just not a fan of all-inclusive but honestly I couldn’t fault it.. if I was being picky then I would say queuing for the coffee machine was a bit annoying towards the end.. just got fed up walking around and queuing but that comes with being on all-inclusive stay.
Plenty of sun beds but need some more sun parasols.. I didn’t have trouble finding some but it was getting busy towards the end of our holiday and lots of people were looking for shade.
Kids club was fine but Spanish spoken.. was a bit difficult for our little ones but they still enjoyed the dancing at times.
Yes it does get hot in the main building with only fans on the ceiling..
Overall we had a really lovely time.
A week was ample for us but have to say a big thank you to everyone who works in this hotel they all do an amazing job and very well organised.
I stayed at Sol Falcó in June/July 2026 for 2 weeks. We were a family of 5 ranging from age 4 to 70.
On arrival at 1pm check in was really quick & straight forward and the Reception team checking us in were really friendly. We were informed our room would only be ready at 3pm but we could start to use the facilities. Due to house keeping we only managed to get in our rooms at 4pm - it was annoying as we’d been up since 2am but nothing major.
Rooms are quite basic, quite small and not much storage for clothes and suitcases for 3 people - but we managed.
House keeping refresh your room every day - make beds & change towels if required. It didn’t seem at any time they do a deep clean.
We had issues with ants & cockroaches - we came in one evening to an infestation of ants on my 4 year old nieces bed!! She wouldn’t sleep in the bed for the rest of the holiday so shared a bed with her mum. I reported this to Reception and asked could the sheets be changed and could our rooms be sprayed - later that day after the cleaners had been in I checked and the bed hadn’t been changed as you could still see where I tried to kill the ants!
We woke up on 3 occasions with a cockroach in our room and then one morning a dead cockroach on our balcony and 100s of ants eating it - AWFUL.. Cleaners DO NOT CLEAN the balcony! We had to physically show her the cockroach & ants so she’d clean it up as they don’t even check the balconies!
FOOD - The food is not bad but it is COLD and I mean cold! Regardless the time of day it’s cold… Cold beans, cold chips, cold gravy/sauces, cold vegetables!… It seems the food is put out about 1 hour before the meal times & the hot plates just don’t keep it hot. For breakfast I’d suggest eggs or omelettes as they are made constantly but other meal times prepare for your food to be cold! There are micro waves but you shouldn’t have to heat your food up even if it is buffet style service it should still be at a decent temperature!
There are a number of swimming pools doted around the hotel and we never had any trouble getting a sun lounger regardless the time of day you went to the pool. The pool where the slides are gets busy than the other pools but there are ample sun loungers around.
Please be careful of the pool that the slides land in as they are quite deep! Personally I feel that the depth of all the pools are too deep. You can’t stand up in them unless your above 6ft tall - obviously the kids pool and splash pool are very shallow for the kids but there’s nothing in between so either ankle deep or above your head deep! Haha!
The entertainment is really good, we enjoyed some really good shows during our stay and the entertainment team are really nice and friendly.
The hotel is close to the 2 beaches, the marina where there’s loads of restaurants if you want to eat out and there’s loads of supermarkets close to the hotel.
Although the hotel is nice and has good facilities and the in a great location, it’s unlikely I’d stay here again due to the food - not ideal eating cold food for 2 weeks!
First impression very good, until you come to dine, all looks great visually but everything luke warm or under cooked nothing ever hot even if your first in restaurant, when you pay nearly £8,000 for a family holiday at a minimum you expect decent warm cooked food, the bar also restricted drinks beer poor only one available unless you buy bottles, cocktails out of a machine, the entertainment was poor for kids the evening kids disco was Repetitive all in Spanish no translation, like other resorts we've been to,the main evening entertainment was poor except the Michael Jackson evening, but that finish at 10.30.then nothing even though bar till 11.30,should be some dj on playing music ,pretty poor overall, will not recommend to anyone or ever return, the rooms very basic ,not cleaned properly, swept or moped, ants on terrace or balcony, dead cockroaches on balcony very poor.
Établissement bien équipé
Bon petit dej
Propreté de la chambre à revoir ( odeur d’égouts et douche bouchée )
Buffet midi et soir trop cantine
Where do I start? This was the first holiday abroad with our 4 year old and it was perfect from start to finish. From the location, to the staff, to the facilities and entertainment. It really was great for a young family.
Located a short 10 minute walk from the Cala n Bosch harbour with many restaurants and bars and the main beach and only a 5 minute walk to the smaller but idyllic Son Xoriguer beach with a small selection of restaurants, it is in a quiet location but has enough around you if you did want to venture out. The hotel has a handful of bus stops nearby where you can catch the bus to the nearby Ciutedella which is only 25 minutes away.
The hotel itself has a total of 7 pools, and as pool fans ourselves we thought we would try them all but we were so happy with the central offerings we stayed by the large saltwater pool and splash pool all week.
The splash pool and water slides were a huge hit with our son, but just to note the pools are deep so if you have a child who is not a strong swimmer a life jacket buoyancy aid is recommended. If you don't have one then no need to worry as these and numerous other floaties are available at the onsite shop as well as at local shops!
There is a big schedule of entertainment events throughout the day and evening, great for the little ones! We joined in some of the daytime events (like the water carpet/inflatable water slides/foam party) and we enjoyed watching the pool dances and the water sports in the saltwater pool every day.
We did take our son to the kids disco and the main entertainment but we rarely made it to the end as it does start very late (8.30pm for the kids disco and 9.30pm for the main entertainment). The entertainment on offer was great fun and we enjoyed them all (I especially loved the abba seagulls!) it looked as though there was a variety of entertainment on offer and this was changed up after we left.
The food on offer was the best food we have come across at any all inclusive we have visited. Such a huge variety on offer and the bar in the food hall meant you could pair up your lunch or dinner with a jug of sangria (if desired!). Food is not piping hot, because you are eating from a buffet style restaurant, but hot food is not freezing cold, it is the perfect temperature to eat once you sit down!
For all inclusive, There is a snack bar available by the pool where you can help yourself to snacks throughout the day (just beware of seagulls if you venture back to your sunbed).
To claim your all inclusive drinks you are given a token each and once you use it for a drink you need to keep hold of your cup and return it for tokens or another drink. The system seemed strange at first but was fine once we got used to it!
There were also soft drink dispensers by the bar, and a cold water tap by the snack bar!
We requested in advance to be away from loud areas (the pools) and to be on a first floor. We got exactly what we requested, it was lovely room with the comfortable pull out bed for our son. Perfect size for all of us! It was quiet yet it was still perfectly close to the central areas. We loved our room and location.
The one thing that worried me most before we arrived was the sunbed situation as you hear at some locations this can be a nightmare, however, my concerns were settled immediately, as we arrived midday and there were plenty of sun beds around for us to use.
If you want to get a sunbed (and shade) near the splash pool, you will need to come down to the pool earlier as these did go the fastest but there are still sunbeds available around the other pools if not!
The staff at this hotel were all warm, welcoming, friendly and kind. They all make you feel at home and so comfortable.
Everything about this holiday has exceeded our expectations, we are so happy this was our sons very first holiday experience and we have already spoken about coming back with our wider family members as we think they would all love it!
Thank you Sol Falco! You have been a dream!
