It was clean and the staff was friendly, we used the bicycles and they were in great condition. There was a short walk to a great coffeeshop and the town, we did not need a car. Bed was comfortable and room well laid out. Great interactions with front desk!
The initial intake emails pre-visit seemed demanding and abrupt; they set an initial tone that was not in keeping with the actual friendly attitude of the staff.
I would call this property adequate. The walls were very thin, compared with other properties in the area. It lacked charm. I was initially disappointed with the environment. Someone from a room that had gotten no sleep the night before said he was gonna check out because it was so loud. I noticed there were no managers on site to handle this issue for him.
Thin walls, bad ambience
The location is beautiful, and the employees were sweet, if not eager to help or be of service.
There was a stain on the sheets. They were stingy about towels. There were ants in the bathroom. There was a plastic cover on the mattress that made noise and felt really creepy and weird, and the bed wasn’t very comfortable, and there was a slight smell of mildew. Also, any hotel that’s charging close to $290 a night should have a safe in the room. This hotel did not. It prices itself like a real hotel and it’s really more like a motel.
good pool, easy in and out . The bikes were of a bit higher quality than most motel bikes
Nothing. For the price it was great.
Casa Ojai Inn was exceptional clean & detailed overall.
Our room was fresh and remodeled like new.
The staff was great & we were very happy !!
everything was perfect
It was clean and air conditioner was working well in that heat!
It was expensive and ordinary motel design. No character
The staff at the front desk was very nice. The room we stayed in was nice and clean. The swimming pool was clean, and I can see that they clean it regularly/often.
Just a couple of small things. The faucets seem a little loose, as if it could break easily. One of the beds sank in a bit, so not as comfortable to sleep in for my son.
The location and they had bikes for free!!
Nothing it was great
Bit of a walk to anything cool. Usuall u to an Uber. Breakfast and ‘happy hour’ were fine.
Hard to keep the hot tub clean from debris due to the wind.
Rooms are large, quiet, and well-maintained. We enjoyed the pool area and the property overall. The staff were friendly and available, which is such a refreshing change from the self-check in arrangements at places where no one works in the reception.
On the pricey side for an older hotel
Decent motel close enough to downtown.
Nice staff. Attractive room. Few alternatives in town during this event. Staff courteous.
Very inflated price due to music festival. Poor little frig. No microwave. Skimpy towels.
Available, location
Ants in room. No service on 3 day stay.
It is a convenient location to see Ojai.
Previous stays have been better
The floors were pretty filthy. It didn't take long, and my bare feet were black from walking around my room. The electrical wiring in the room could use some attention. The outlet behind the couch wasn't attached to the junction box and came off the wall when I tried to unplug a cord from it. The outlet beside the bed was completely on the light switch which was interesting because the room's alarm clock was set up there. So, turning off the room's lights turned off the alarm clock.
