Meh...with Great Location.
Pros:

The location was very nice allowing for an easy walk to restaurants and ocean views.

Cons:

HH member here. We were not given a comp coupon for breakfast. In fact, didn't know about it until check out. At checkout, we were charged $35 per day for the privilege of parking our own vehicle in an open-air in and out lot.
The rooms are smaller. We had to ask for more towels, as 2 bath towels for 2 adults wasn't going to cut it.
We stayed here before the renovation several years ago. The rooms still do not reflect the quality of a supposedly nicer Hilton property.
Oh, and we were supposed to pay a resort/property fee. It's not a resort.
The one elevator has a very narrow entry and made it difficult for access and egress with luggage.
As an HH member an ocean facing room might have made me happier.

Noisy rooms but above all, no Breakfast offered whatsoever.
Inflexibility in booking (I needed to extend my stay for one day and it was not possible)!

Disappointing
Pros:

Room was good, comfortable beds, very clean. Early check in was appreciated.

Cons:

Paid for a room with breakfast , but breakfast wasn't availabe in the way I was expecting, it was an order and pay at the hotel cafe that could be offset against the resort fee. Still waitng for a refund on this, as I paid for something not available.

Nice hotel but needs more staff
Pros:

The hotel was a lovely hotel and very clean but the lack of staff is a massive problem. Waited over 40mins to get someone to get my luggage from the left luggage room.

Good basic hotel, close the local attractions,
Pros:

Excellent location,close to allmain attraction of Redondo and Hermosa beaches. I also liked the free 2 hour bike rentals.

Cons:

Breakfast was mediocre. Also when I got the final bill I was charged for parking $40--really???) and I did not park there.
