Better than average and we are willing to try it again when we return in November.
Pros:

Bar, Food, coffee was a good variety. Service was average. Michael was exceptional.

Mold infested hotel

This is simply the worst hotel ever. It’s more like a cheap motel. The room smelled like mildew mix with sweat. I asked the front desk to do something about the smell they simply sprayed room refresher to cover up the bad moldy smell. The towels were so old that they turned grey and I could find pieces of hair embedded in them.
The worst is that there is no working shower! I was taking a shower at night and the water shut down in the middle of my shower. I called the front desk and was told that no one was on duty to help. How can any hotel have no maintenance people on site and on call????? It’s a major violation of the safety protocols and putting every of the guests at risk.
Save yourself from hell and avoid this horrible place!!!

The hotel was nice, comfortable, and clean, and the staff was friendly.

However, there were additional charges that were not disclosed at the time of booking:

* $40 per night for parking
* $35 per night as a hotel/resort fee

None of these extra charges were mentioned or explained during the booking process, and I don't think that is acceptable.

Nothing autograph here but the coastal location. Former Budget hotel that will surprise you with an unadvertised resort and other fees. Nothing resort or Autograpgh about this property aside from its coastal location. In fact, very dated and pedestrian rooms.

Meh...with Great Location.

The location was very nice allowing for an easy walk to restaurants and ocean views.

Cons:

HH member here. We were not given a comp coupon for breakfast. In fact, didn't know about it until check out. At checkout, we were charged $35 per day for the privilege of parking our own vehicle in an open-air in and out lot.
The rooms are smaller. We had to ask for more towels, as 2 bath towels for 2 adults wasn't going to cut it.
We stayed here before the renovation several years ago. The rooms still do not reflect the quality of a supposedly nicer Hilton property.
Oh, and we were supposed to pay a resort/property fee. It's not a resort.
The one elevator has a very narrow entry and made it difficult for access and egress with luggage.
As an HH member an ocean facing room might have made me happier.
