Generally a relaxing stay
Pros:

Friendly staff, cleanliness of room, comfortable bed, toiletry supplies if needed, HVAC system works well and is very quiet, prompt housekeeping and maintenance service when needed, good breakfast and clean eating area

Cons:

Shower nozzle is too high for short people (last visit here I actually fell out onto the tile floor, attempting to reach it)
Room curtains could use changing or possibly repairing so that they easily move)

Pros:

Close to things that we wanted to do in Hayward.

Cons:

This is not even a 1 star hotel..
Looks like they bought this motel location and did a bit of touchups and turned into best western plus
