Pros:

Best Western Plus Newport Mesa Inn is a wonderful place to stay. I had a hip replacement and the staff couldn't have been nicer! Kelly, the manager, was so kind and made sure I was comfortable. Kay, Gem, Melissa, helped me with breakfasts. Kay even surprised me on my birthday and brought lunch! Bob helped me with the TV. Ana Rosa, Maria made sure my room was clean and tidy.
The rooms are clean, there's parking, coffee in the lobby. This hotel is the best!

Great value overall
Pros:

Location was perfect. About 10 min from shopping mall and entertainment and only 5 minutes from my schedule meeting.

Cons:

There was a bug that was dead and smashed that wasn't cleaned up before we arrived. Breakfast included hot foods but not the greatest. Good breakfast potatoes and waffles. The fruit selection was minimal and juice was not real oj. Bacon would have been nice

Front desk employee was very understanding.

Cons:

We were double charged - manager tried to blame booking but was provided an email before we checked in expressing the change so they could update their system. Went the whole weekend down money and a manager who expressed her deal with it Monday because he couldn’t be bothered .

Nice stay close to Fairgrounds
Pros:

Close to and a short walk from the OC Fairgrounds. We were there for the OC Marathon, and instead of free breakfast (runners had to leave before cafe hours) the hotel did runner snack bags - so cool!

Cons:

We were put on the 1st floor this time, it's much more noisy - doors opening and closing and ice machines echo down the hallway.
