Great place to enjoy Florence from
Pros:

Lovely view with occasional beautiful music heard in the distance
Elevator large enough for 4 people
Quiet, comfortable beds.

Able to leave bags at reception desk though no one was there most of the time

Wi-Fi molto funzionante (70 MB/S), utile per lavori o concorsi vari. Zona Novoli servita da autobus, linea tramviaria (3 fermate a Novoli, la più vicina a 10 minuti a piedi), vicina alla Stazione Rifredi (10/15 min in macchina) e Santa Maria Novella (20/25 min a seconda del traffico). Colazione buona e diversificata, staff gentile e accogliente, pronto a soddisfare le esigenze dei clienti. Letto e cuscini molto comodi.

Cons:

Rapporto qualità-prezzo eccessivo. La camera non era da hotel 4 stelle (presumibilmente, ci sono camere superior o suite, ma anche le standard devono rispecchiare il livello della struttura), camera e albergo puliti, nonostante il servizio pulizia si sia dimenticato di cambiare la carta igienica, tanto da doverla chiedere io. Insonorizzazione non eccellente, televisione non funzionante, luce da comodino solo da un lato del letto, i comodini sono semplici tavoli da fumo. Il frigo bar non funzionava benissimo.

Generally good, though room layout and noise could affect longer visits
Pros:

Breakfast was a real highlight of our stay. There was an excellent choice of food, with a particularly good selection of cakes and patisserie. The coffee was very good, and the breakfast staff were consistently nice, polite and welcoming, which made the experience more enjoyable. A very strong start to the day.

Cons:

We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights. While the room initially appeared spacious, it wasn’t especially practical in daily use. The size was mainly due to the room being long and quite narrow, which limited how comfortably the space could be used. The headboards appeared to be improvised from bookcases and unfortunately one collapsed during our stay. The space between the beds was also quite tight, allowing only one person to pass through at a time.
We had to rearrange the desk to access a socket for the kettle tray and some of the light fittings were moveable rather than fixed. In the bathroom, there wasn’t a shelf or surface to place toiletries, which made everyday routines less convenient for us.
Noise was more noticeable than expected, especially over a week‑long stay. The walls were quite thin and we could hear neighbouring rooms. Being close to the first‑floor restaurant also meant early‑morning phone ringing, some noise from guests one evening and ongoing traffic noise from outside.
Given the hotel’s distance from the historic center, we relied on public transport. During the first few days, the buses were not always reliable, were very busy in the evenings and not direct. We later used the tram, which worked better, although it still required around a 10‑minute walk.
We could have requested a different room, but once unpacked we preferred not to move. Overall, while there were positive aspects to the stay, the room layout, noise levels and location made it less comfortable than we had hoped for a week‑long visit.

Ordinata pulita e accogliente, letti spaziosi e posizione ottima.

Cons:

La signora in guardia alla colazione metteva ansia e stress. Faceva sì che ci fosse un ambiente teso. Ti sentivi “sottocontrollo ” nel mangiare.
