Great location and friendly staff. All in all a great experience.
The mattress was past its best before date and the bathroom door would not close properly as it needed servicing.

However, carpets should not be used in hotels—you never know when they are truly clean. The baseboards were broken and dirty.
The bathroom also had some fur/hair in it.

Not clean, awful smell in bathroom, very noisy pubs/bars near by - could hear the racket on the 7th floor with the windows shut, breakfast was average, English breakfast tea tasted awful.

We were there for our son’s graduation so location was great for getting into town to celebrate & then go to the ceremonies.

The rooms are very dark and it had a musty smell. The fan in the room needed cleaning as did the carpets.

If your expecting a 5star hotel. This is not the place for you. But what you do get is a clean cosy and comfortable hotel in a great location. And for a very reasonable price.
