Disappointing Stay — Not What I Expected
I was very disappointed with my stay at the Charlottetown Inn & Conference Centre. I booked a king-size room because, after a long trip, all I wanted was a clean, quiet room with a comfortable bed and the chance to sleep in. When I arrived, I was told the king was unavailable and was given two queen beds instead.
What made the experience worse was discovering that the hotel is undergoing construction. At 8:00 a.m., I was woken by the sound of a hammer drill working on concrete. For the $200 I paid, that was extremely disappointing. I feel guests should be clearly informed about major construction before booking, not after they've already paid.
I also tried to cancel, but was told the deposit was non-refundable because I booked through an app. I understand policies, but I was disappointed that nobody offered any reasonable solution or compensation.
Overall, a very disappointing stay. Be sure to ask about construction before booking.

The location was great. Within walking to many attractions. The staff were pleasant and helpful. After reading some poor reviews due to the construction, it was a pleasant surprise to see such a nice hotel and room.
The fridge in our room was noisy.
Downtown location was great, the staff member we meet when we arrived was lovely.
Took 5min for the shower to get warm. The breakfast basket fruit had been there for a number of days. We did not get the room type we booked.

Das Hotel ist sehr zentral, nah an Downtown und Hafen gelegen. Alles ist in fußnähe erreichbar. Insgeamt war alles sehr gut, sauber, neu renoviert (im Conference Haus), die Betten bequem und nicht zu weich - und Deutsche aufgepasst: Man kann die Fenster öffnen!
Meine Freunde, mit denen ich gereist bin, haben bemängelt, dass das Frühtück nur ein Korb voller Müsliriegel, Säfte, einem Apfel und einer Orange und einigen Cookies und Muffins bestand, der im Zimmer drapiert war.
Renovated room with full kitchenette and nice size bathroom/shower. Perfect room if you were staying longer on business.
The bed was brutal, lumpy and felt unlevel. Upgrade the pillows also.
Breakfast bar in room. Bed was very comfortable.
Yoilet plugged first thing when we arose. Had to use lobby bathroom.
Location and super clean. Excellent staff.
