Pros:

Comfort of second room, breakfast was good.

Cons:

We were upgraded to a family suite. The room was very large and well appointed, but the sofa bed was terrible and basically ruined our first night as unable to sleep. The staff were very accommodating next morning and we changed rooms to original configuration of two double beds and was much better.

Great place for family breakfast
Pros:

The food was great but the staff and service were phenomenal, particularly the gentleman named Nacho. He was polite and extremely helpful, highly recommend trying the breakfast here

For $1300 for 3 nights …. I expected so much more … horrible

Not much… some staff were nice ..

Cons:

The rude staff were incredibly rude.. the crazy $25 fee if you didn’t return your pool towel…. The poorly made drinks .. the fact only 1 lift worked and no one explained the situation or apologised for the massive delays and over crowded lift .. not a single cork screw in the entire hotel…. I could go on … but why… nothing will change..

Pros:

The location was perfect, in walking distance to so many places. The facilities were beautiful. The staff were always helpful and friendly. The pool was the highlight for the kids. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Cairns

The hotel was fine but not worth the amount we paid for a “delux room”.
Pros:

The outdoor pool area was great and the food was decent. The hotel itself is in a great location to the esplanade and restaurants etc, staff was also really nice and helpful.

Cons:

Great location, however, the “delux room” was exactly the same as the standard rooms and didn’t offer any additional space or amenities. Our room also had ants in it and the pillows felt like they were 100 years old. The buffet breakfast was very average.
