Renovated room with newer facilities, nice services, easy access to beach and great sea views
Breakfast could be a bit more varied.
Beautiful location with fantastic amenities. The private beach and pool and dining options were great. Very clean and excellent staff
The bathroom was very dated and old. The shower/tub was an accident waiting to happen and the shower head was awful and felt like it was from the 70's.
Everything was amazing
O check eh ate as 12h eu pedi ate as 13 apenas
Cave walk to the pool
No air conditioning despite us booking an a/c room. Told they don’t switch on the a/c until the summer months.
You had to iron in one specific room near the breakfast area:
The views are breathtaking and are the main reason this hotel receives any positive score from me. The location, private beach, and pool area are truly beautiful and make for a unique setting in Taormina.
almost everything else fell short of expectations for a hotel charging €600+ per night. The rooms are very old, outdated, and in need of renovation. While we could overlook this because of the incredible views, the overall value for money is difficult to justify.
What ultimately ruined our experience was the way we were treated by hotel management. We invited friends to join us during the day and were never informed during booking or check-in that any special authorization was required for visitors. Instead of politely explaining the policy, management approached the situation with suspicion and accusations, making our guests feel unwelcome.
The most upsetting part was the treatment of my pregnant wife, who was repeatedly questioned about whether she was a hotel guest despite being a registered guest staying at the hotel. She was publicly embarrassed in front of our friends and other guests, which left her extremely upset.
I fully respect a hotel’s right to enforce its rules, but I do not believe paying guests should be treated in this manner. The lack of communication regarding the policy and the way the situation was handled completely overshadowed what should have been a special trip.
For the price paid, I expected much better hospitality and professionalism.
Location is perfect
Rooms and halls were oldish
Beleza e conforto
nada
The location was superb .
Loved the Pool area and the beach but did need beach shoes as stoney.
They upgraded us which was fabulous
Stafff were all good and service was great couldn’t fault them.
Would return there
Shuttle to Toramina was very useful too
In the bedroom the TV was put in front of the only mirror .
The TV should be wall mounted where it is and one or two mirrors put in alcove above other table and maybe one on wall down by side of bed.
Women need mirrors !!
There was not one either in the dressing room
The bathroom was ok but dark looking in mirror there fir makeup
We were on the fourth floor
That’s about it
great hotel, food, location, ambiance, service, view of Etna from breakfast terrace;
too expensive, and shuttle bus shall be much more frequent than every 30 min since the hotel was full
The highlights of the hotel are its pool and private beach, which are truly beautiful. I also think that their complimentary shuttle to Taormina is worth mentioning (every way up or down costs ~20,00...).
- Rooms are super outdated, and really lack some renovation. I must say, they were quite disappointing for the high price you pay.
- Pool/beach snacks and small bites are quite mediocre and expensive. Their poke bowls are the most weird ones I've ever had, with a mix of ingredients that didn't make any sense.
- Their main restaurant "Le Grand Bleu" is a trap...mediocre food and highly expensive for what they deliver.
