Hotel is really ageing and beds are awful, the saving grace is that the hotel staff are really good.
Pros:

The staffs were friendly, accommodating and helpful.

Cons:

The beds are really old, sunken and really uncomfortable. Hotels are suppose to provide a restful sleep and these are basic expectations.

Great West End Location- rooms need an update
Pros:

Great location in the west end. Convenient to the botanical garden and kelvingrove art gallery. Easy bus ride into town.

Cons:

Two fire alarms went off at 318 and 430am one day. Lots of confusion. Turned out to be a false alarm but was at odds with a good night's rest. Funny smell in the room that eventually dissipated. The rugs need to be changed. My travel companion would not go barefoot or even wear socks in the room.
Have to pay to stay in the parking lot. If you request a car it will be outside the property to avoid the fee (or having to come in to get validation)

Not good anymore.
Pros:

The staff were helpful.

Cons:

Parking, what a nonsense payment ticket system.
Hotel room was dated, shabby and needed urgent maintenance.
Curtains broken and fallen off rails, needed to hook a curtain pin up in centre to keep closed each night.

Mattress protector torn and not covering mattress. Flat sheet too small to cover torn mattress protector. (No fitted sheet)

Hard to regulate thermostatic temp for shower in the bath tub.

Breakfast seems to have decreased in quality over last year or so. Poorer quality cheaper ingredients, bacon in particular, salty cheap stuff. The orange juice was so watered down it was just a hint of orange.

It was much better 2 years ago.

RUN DOWN
Pros:

Most of the employees were very nice.

Cons:

It was VERY rundown. The pictures online were NOT from this hotel. Carpet was very old and patched. Walls were badly scuffed up as were the baseboards and doors. Furniture was very beat up. Sadly my husband will never stay at another Leonardo even though I think this was a one off.

Spend the extra money and stay somewhere else.
Pros:

It had a bed…

Cons:

Myself and my partner have been eaten alive with bed bugs. We only stayed one night and have many bites all over our bodies. The room was £130 so still relatively pricey for what we got. I’ve stayed in hostels in Thailand that were better than this.

Pros:

The bed was comfy l

Cons:

hotel in need of a make over and a very very expensive breakfast at an extortionate extra price of £27 for two which was absolutely dreadful also on top of that despite having sign on door for cleaners not to come in one man decided to walk in twice when my partner was sleeping and I was out of the room. But I'm surprised it got 3 stars rating but it done job for weekend

Adequate but wouldn’t recommend
Pros:

Staff were lovely & communal areas clean

Cons:

Bedrooms were dusty, iron burn on the carpet. Bathroom shower dripped constantly, cup chipped in the room. In need of a refresh. Very expensive for the state of the room, £232 for 1 night with breakfast. You can get more for your money elsewhere.
Booked breakfast but wasn’t on the booking when we got there so had to pay again.

One night to attend a concert in Glasgow and was reasonably priced.
Pros:

Easy to find and good parking facilities. Staff friendly.
Unfortunately the room next to us was a bit noisy throughout the night. Sounded as though someone kept falling out of bed.

Cons:

The attention to detail in the cleanliness of the room. The hotel would benefit from a refresh as some areas are looking tired. I am a bit of a detail nerd so this may not bother other people. Chose the Leonardo as previously used them in Edinburgh.
