Nice pool for young children
Room was filthy. A/C wasn’t working well. Stains all over the carpet. Debris under the coffee table when moves it to pull out the sofa bed. A large bug crawled across floor within an hour of arriving.
We had an amazing stay at the Best Western Plus Lamplighter Inn in London! The service was excellent from start to finish, and everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. The room service food was absolutely delicious and exceeded our expectations.
The pool area was such a wonderful surprise, with a beautiful Caribbean feel and a lovely patio that made it feel like a little getaway. Yes, the pool was busy at times, but that is completely expected at a popular hotel during the summer. Everyone in the pool area was friendly, and there were also plenty of times throughout the day when it was much quieter and very relaxing. Our room was clean and beautifully maintained, there was also like a roof top terrace near our room where you could sit outside and relax.
We honestly do not understand how anyone could rate this hotel less than five stars. We had an awesome stay and would absolutely return. Highly recommend!
From check in to check out, world class customer service and care!! Came down for my wife surgery and the care we received was amazing.. Room was beautiful atrium was beautiful!! Best hotel in London Ontario
We loved the hotel and honestly I would rate you as 5 star. The front desk staff Ben and Bryan and the other lady were exceptional.

Convenience and closeness to movies and restaurants
I asked for early check in days in advance and was ignored and room was not even ready. Was forced to take another room due to time constraints. The temp outside was 35 degrees and the air conditioner was broken. No offer of a better room and was offered a fan...total bullshit blowing hot air around. The bed was uncomfortable and when I asked to have the room cleaned they said NO. Then proceeded to tell me you have to ask the day before to get room cleaned, well I have never heard such bullshit in my life as that is not how a hotel is run and there was NEVER a mention that this was policy.

The ac was not working well during heat wave. The carpet inside the room felt damp as soon as we checked in
The staff for this visit were nice and very accommodating to solve my issues. Front desk immediately gave me a new room and voucher for breakfast.
I went to my room and was absolutely worn out from flights and walked into the bathroom and realized the room was NOT even cleaned. There was other people's hair around the tub, in the tub, in the sink, on the floor. Absolutely disgusting. I went straight to the front desk and was issued a new room immediately.
Front desk was pleasant and very helpful.
I paid extra to have a nice room with jet tub for relaxation and all I heard was kids running up and down the halls banging on other people's doors and screaming and throwing ice from ice machine everywhere. There needs to be rules in place to make people control their brats.
Something needs to be done to vent the small fridge in the room. If you fill the fridge and close the doors to the cupboard it heats up so bad the fridge won't cool and food is heated and ruined.
