The pool area, staff, rooms, bed, bathroom
Pool area and fish pond
Overall, our stay was okay, but there were several issues that affected our experience. The room felt noticeably damp throughout our stay and would really benefit from a dehumidifier. We also couldn't get the temperature below 73°F, even after lowering the thermostat, which made the room feel warm and uncomfortable.
One of the main reasons we booked this room was for the advertised jetted tub. While the room did have a bathtub, it was not a jetted model, which was disappointing and did not match the room description.
The TVs were also not functioning during our stay, which further detracted from the overall experience. With a few updates and better quality control, this could be a much more enjoyable place to stay.
There was always something to do and it was super clean. Being fully booked it was still not overwhelmingly packed.
We enjoyed dinner with some friends at Shelly's bar & restaurant in the hotel.
The HVAC system is being replaced so there was a portable a/c unit in the room, and I had to ask for a heater overnight as it had gotten very cold out. Still, the staff was responsive and brought the heater right away.
The pool access
I really enjoyed the jungle feel of the pool area it was really relaxing, and the fish pond off to the side. Very beautiful. Thank you will be returning soon.
I love to sleep in so always wishing for a later check out time.
Main part of the hotel was very nice, as was the conference room area. The pool area was also leather, clean and would be great for families staying more than one night. Having a restaurant in the hotel is a good feature as well.
The room I stayed in was dated. It’s a decent room but there’s no way it’s worth 290 dollars for a single night. The single bed rooms are nicer and have a view of the interior pool. Honestly those seemed a bit pricey as well. I wouldn’t pay more than 250 for that room.
