Location and price
A little outdated
The room was decent and the hotel layout was pretty cool to walk around.
The staff didn’t know their own rules, I booked this as someone under 21 (I have booked at this property before with no issues) and the receptionist was very rude to me when i told her this. she said whoever checked me in will get fired and demanded the date to try to find what employee was working so she could fire them and i said that’s very uncomfortable to ask of a guest. I asked again about check in but she claimed this is illegal and refused to even ask her manager. Luckily another worker who was actually competent asked the manager for me and it turns out the first girl just blatantly lied to me because there was no rule regarding <21 check in. She claimed it was a nevada state law which i know for a fact is false based on previous experiences as well as my current standing in law school. Overall the staff was very unprofessional and i would never waste my money on this customer service again. do better.
The courtyard
The room was less than satisfactory, old dirty carpet, towel shelf falling off the wall, bed was very uncomfortable and pillows hard as rocks and shower could've been a little cleaner. I stayed there 2 yrs ago and the room I was in was much nicer, cleaner and pillows and bed much better. Don't think we'll stay here next year!
I was able to check in early, staff very nice. Also nice greenery outside window.
Access to better coffee - there was a machine in the room, but no way to get espresso.
