Great location and nice hotel.
Pros:

Clean, renovated with a saloon and Steakhouse. 1 mile from south rim for sunset and sunrise!

Cons:

We have no complaints, just robes needed in room.

The Grand was in a great location and was very clean .The buffet breakfast was exceptional as was the happy hour .

Cons:

Please provide an ironing board and iron! The steamer was a disaster. A second luggage rack would have been nice. There was a very brusque attendant in the gift shop; I was considering purchasing an item but decided not to .😞

Great hotel, no management and no training for the staff. Tbey didn’t know what they were doing.

Great place. Lovely room and facilities. Lovely pool and jacuzzi. Great location.

Cons:

There was no staff management at all. There was no coffee for breakfast, everyone was coming down for breakfast for coffee. The only way to get one was to walk in the kitchen and ask them to do one personally for you. We wanted to buy a t-shirt in the little shop, which had someone at the counter. As soon as we walked in she said we could not buy anything. We went to the bar area to get a drink, the barman said he was busy and we needed to sit at a table. We sat there for a bit then, a waiter came over and it was 1759, so we asked for a wine and a cider for happy hour. The waiter looked at his watch then waited for it to change to 18:00, then said happy hour is over! We ordered the drinks and meal, the meals were cold, so we send them back for hot meals.. Then one the staff came over and took my chair. It was like we were in a comedy show.

Magnifique hôtel idéal pour visiter le Grand Canyon
Pros:

Magnifique hôtel très bien décoré, avec un très joli coin salon où des cookies et du café sont en libre-service.
Les chambres familiales sont grandes et spacieuses.
Le petit-déjeuner en supplément est très complet et délicieux.
Nous avons aussi apprécié la salle de sport et la piscine ( quoique un peu froide) et le jacuzzi.
Par ailleurs, cet hôtel est à proximité de l'entrée du Grand Canyon et une navette se trouve juste devant l'hôtel ( parfait pour laisser la voiture à l'hôtel). Pour le soir, l'hotel comprend un restaurant (mais assez cher) mais il y a aussi d'autres restaurants à proximité bien moins cher ( Wendy's, Steackhouse, We cook pizza and pasta...)

Cons:

Le prix du petit déjeuner (excellent) qui n'est pas inclus dans le prix de la chambre ...

Great location for the Grand Canyon, but an average stay
Pros:

Overall, our stay at The Grand Hotel was okay, but unfortunately nothing particularly memorable.

The room itself was perfectly fine and comfortable enough for our stay. The biggest advantage of the hotel is definitely its location. It is very conveniently situated for visiting the Grand Canyon, which made it a good base for exploring the area.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the service was a little disappointing. We found the staff rather indifferent and missed the warm, friendly hospitality we experienced almost everywhere else during our trip through the United States.

Breakfast was also underwhelming and unfortunately not very tasty.

All in all, a decent and convenient place to stay when visiting the Grand Canyon, but based on our experience, there is definitely room for improvement when it comes to hospitality and breakfast.
