Will definitely stay there again. Decadent but not old fashioned.

Cons:

View at the back looking at the roof top rusty ducting/ steelwork but not an issue as we got it for a very good price and not bothered about the view for the amount of time we were in the room

No bath,hardly a junior suite charger left in the socket from previous occupier small lift to all the floors lounge with large corner television and no easy chairs like there used to be menu in the restaurant over expensive and minute alright for boozy race days but not for a relaxing time.

The rooms were a little tired and sheets left all day in the hallways - best to use wicker baskets - not keen on being charged for car parking - when none residents buying a sandwich had free parking.

Pros:

The hotel is in the centre of the "nice" part of Cheltenham with a choice of good restaurants, as well as many shops, cinema and theatre, nearby.

Cons:

No news channel on TV
TV was at ninety degrees to the bed so we had to lie accross the bed to see it - rather than the more usual position

The stay was overall beyond expectations for the cost.
Pros:

The hotel was in an excellent location, the appearance was grand, it was tastefully decorated and furnished and the. rooms were very comfortable and with aircon

It is well located

Cons:

No airconditioning. Not good customer service. Rather officious - which is odd when we are the customers. Not a welcoming atmosphere. Astonished parking charged for. Overall poor.

Hidden gem in Cheltenham
Pros:

The staff were all helpful. Jack The manager was very responsive to any issues raised. Nothing was too much to make our stay greàt. Ambience and decor off beat, but really nice. Food quality i restaurant superb. Would recommend to both friends and corporate associates.

Cons:

Revolving doors small - need to make it clear there is a second point of entry into reception.

Pros:

Staff where excellent.

Cons:

Room was supposed to have air conditioning, get in the room and it was hotter inside than outside . Given a tiny fan . Reported to staff and they where really good but you could tell there hands where tied behind there backs from higher up .
