Pros:

Friendly staff - was my birthday and they upgraded us to a kingsize room. Very clean and spacious. Loved the intricate designs in the main bar area. Used the spa facilities - fantastic.

Pros:

The staff are vert friendly. Even make you feel welcome with a nice hot cookie, at check in. The wide corridors / room were very clean. ( I received a SMS msg as soon as we got there asking my views, and as at the time I had not even had time to explore the hotel, I replied back saying it's dated. That's the hotel, as I found out later. It is dated to the period it is dedicated to, so I hope I did not upset anyone. Breakfast is to be had in a fantastic airy room and everything you could ask for is available. (Did not see any "Salmon or Kippers" so not sure if available) The hotel also has one of the best SPA's I have come across in hotels. The swimming area, hot-tub, (inside and outside) steam room and sauna are outstanding and very clean. The massuse I had was very polite and friendly, so really enjoyed that.
The bar and staff maning it are really friendly and can mix drinks really well, Happy hour from 5pm, so a nice cocktail or two before dinner is worth it.

Cons:

We have a Blue Badge vehicle and found it a bit hard to find places to park near the entrance to minimse walking. The parking charge £18 a day is a bit excessive but this was waved when we registed the Blue Badge. (Money saved there went to cocktails) Cannot really say that we did not like anything and will stay agin next visit to Harrogate.

Goed ontbijt, goede kamer met ventilator (voor de hete dagen). Zwembad (spa) is mooie voorziening. Eten in restaurant goed maar relatief duur.

Cons:

Bedden zijn enigszins smal. Duur parkeertarief bij het hotel.
