Quality of hotel, elevator, rooms, staff
The property was far enough away from the busy tourist traffic but had easy access to mass transit. The staff was excellent and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Especially to our waitress at the breakfast buffet, Erguvan, and to one of the bell hops, llker. They pushed customer satisfaction out.
Our room was clean but not super clean. My wife found a few hairs in the bathroom.

The location is excellent, close to shopping malls and the historic old city, making it very easy to explore the area. The staff provided great service throughout our stay. Everyone was kind, welcoming, and always willing to help.
It’s a short tram ride from the SultanAhmet area but is far enough from the extreme tourist crowds that you can get a peaceful night’s rest. The restaurants around the property stay open till late at night and there are two grocery stores close by too. The money exchange was also right near the hotel and gave much better rates than tourist areas. The tram and bus stop are literally in front of the hotel. There’s also a Starbucks right next to the hotel. So honestly, anything you need is within walking distance. The staff at the hotel were some of the nicest people we met in Istanbul. I’d definitely recommend it to everyone.

The location is right infront of Findikzade Tram Station. So if you have to travel by Tram to tourist attractions, it would be helpful. The behavior of the staff also was very good. All were very friendly and helpful and receptive towards all requests. They sometimes went out of their way to meet our requests.
We had paid for Breakfast on everyday while booking the room itself, and that was a mistake. The Breakfast felt a little bit repetitive as we stayed there for around 8 days. Everyday the Breakfast spread had almost same items. Could add a little bit of variety and that would make it better. The Bathroom/closet n the rooms doesn't have a latch/lock from the inside as it is a slide door that can be opened from inside and outside anytime.
I had a wonderful stay at Ramada by Wyndham Hotel Old City Istanbul. The hotel has an excellent and convenient location, comfortable rooms, and a very pleasant atmosphere.
What made my stay truly special was the outstanding service provided by Erguvan and Mehmet at the restaurant. They were extremely kind, professional, attentive, and welcoming. Their hospitality made a great impression and added a lot to the overall experience.
I would also like to thank the reception team and all the staff members for their friendliness, helpfulness, and warm attitude from check-in until departure.
Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul.
