Holmes Hotel is in the perfect location next to Baker Street Station and Oxford Street. Everything you need is on your doorstep. But it is the staff who really made our stay special. Everyone in the reception was so friendly and helpful, especially Rachel and Jeet.
There are many good things about this hotel – the location, the proximity to public transport, proximity to good shopping, etc. etc. but for me the highlight of this hotel is its people. I want to give a shout out to Hea and Jeet and Jaroslav whose warm and welcoming attitude really made a big difference in the overall experience. They are super professional, but also very willing to help with problem-solving and finding solutions. They also display a level of flexibility and willingness to listen to issues. Excellent attitude, which should be rewarded.

My daughter and I travelled from Norfolk to stay at the Holmes Hotel for one night as we had an appointment at The Princess Grace Hospital the next day. We were quickly checked in on arrival by a friendly, helpful gentleman. He explained about the Holmes Kitchen restaurant mealtimes including breakfast.
Our Suite was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Only downside were the stairs up to the room as you enter through the door which we were unaware of and there was no handrail making it difficult when you are registered disabled - it was our fault, we should have phoned and asked before we travelled to the hotel - and there were complimentary dressing gowns in the wardrobe to wear but no slippers in the pockets.
Our food allergies were catered for very well. A big thank you to the chef in the Holmes Kitchen for creating and adapting a delicious meal for us both with no advanced notice of our food allergies.
All the staff were very pleasant and welcoming but we would like to give particular thanks to Shraddha at breakfast who looked after us so well, she made sure everything we chose for breakfast was safe for us to eat as we have lots of food allergies that make us ill.
Shraddha’s customer service is first class, she genuinely cares about customers and goes the extra mile to help you and always with a smile. Nothing is too much bother for her. She is a credit to the Holmes Hotel.
We will definitely be returning, hopefully for a lovely leisurely visit and not for a medical appointment next time!
This was my second stay at the Holmes Hotel, and I was just as satisfied as I was during my first visit. The hotel has an elegant boutique atmosphere and is a very pleasant place to stay. The Sherlock Holmes theme is charming and thoughtfully incorporated throughout the property. The hotel is generally very well maintained, although the floor in my room appeared quite scratched and somewhat worn. The breakfast was very enjoyable when I tried it, and the location is perfect for my needs. The hotel is just a short walk from Baker Street Station, which provides excellent transport connections via multiple Underground lines. I also absolutely love the Marylebone neighborhood, which adds even more to the overall experience. Overall, I had another wonderful stay and would be happy to return in the future.
My only criticism relates to the twin beds. Since I was traveling with a friend, I booked a Deluxe Twin Room. The room was generously sized and offered plenty of space; however, the twin beds felt quite narrow, which affected my sleep comfort during the stay. Considering the size of the room, I believe larger twin beds could be accommodated and would significantly enhance the guest experience.
Evening meal service and recommendations were nothing short of brilliant.
Breakfast service was equally great
Food was fantastic
We would not stay anywhere else in London .Enough said!
The hotel was nice and the staff were great. We enjoyed our breakfast and the bar but room was not quite what we expected. Room 404 is an awkward shape and just not very appealing. Also, bathtub is so tall it is hard to get in and out of when showering. The bed was good.
I had a wonderful stay at Holmes hotel. The dinner was delicious, with a great selection of high-quality dishes, and the breakfast was equally impressive.
What truly made the experience great was the amazing staff. Every member of the team was friendly, professional, and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure guests felt welcome and well cared for shout out to Kontas, Ria,Anna,Solomone,Flelix a gelatos man!! And the breakfast team member we didn’t get his name but the one who is always smile and big welcome to all the guests.
I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future.
The personnel is fantastic ,so helpful.Especcially i would like to thank you to Mr.Oktay Aslan for his excellent service. He feels us like at home.
