Sadly not what I was expecting from a boutique hotel.
Pros:

Unfortunately we had a train at 5:45am and could not partake in breakfast. It would have been nice if the hotel would have offered grab and go bags, but they did not.

Cons:

Even for Alaska, Air Conditioning would have been appreciated. A fan is not sufficient.

Pros:

Excellent location. Walk to Anchorage Rail (5 mins) surrounded by restaurants and mall. Room was enormous with 2 double beds and lounge area.

Cons:

Look elsewhere for breakfast.

Whatever you do, don’t stay here
Pros:

Room was filthy. There was dust on everything like the hotel room had been vacant for months, but it was supposedly fully booked. The bed had clean sheets. The TV had no signal. Breakfast was comparable to a cheap motel. Avoid this place like the plague.

Not very impressive
Pros:

For Alaska's expensive pricing, this was not much of a deal. Tiny bathroom. Very noisy street outside. Lumpy bed. Breakfast was ok for cereal, but not much else. On the other hand, the lighting was very good; we had 2 luggage racks without having to ask; and desk clerk was very helpful.

Needs a Major refurbishing
Pros:

Definitely not what you would expect for $450 per night. In need of refurbishing. Noisy. Very hot with no AC. Staff was not welcoming. Plenty of better options. For $450 we got a solid view of a cinder block wall. Unbelievable.

Gute Lage Downtown Anchorage, großes Zimmer, bequeme Betten.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war insgesamt recht staubig, insbesondere die Möbel. Das Zimmer /die Betten wurden erst nach Aufforderung gemacht. Sehr dürftiges "Frühstück" auf Papptellern bzw. aus Pappbechern. Das ist bei einem Preis von 400 Euro pro Nacht überhaupt nicht akzeptabel!

Wouldn't stay again!
Pros:

The only positives at this hotel were the reception staff, who are amazing and the very comfortable bed & bathroom. Unfortunately both the rooms we stayed in were extremely stuffy with no air, the hotel has a very musty smell & the breakfast was awful, tasteless & rubbery. We had to disconnect the fridge in our room due to the amount of heat it was generating, definitely a fire risk!

Cons:

No king bed available and I booked in January for a June stay. Indicates walking distance to the Alaska RR depot - you could walk but it was very far and done a steep hill. We Ubered.

Very nice hotel, but be aware!
Pros:

This hotel was honestly nicer than I expected. The decor was great and the room was very clean and comfortable. I didn't get a chance to eat at the buffet as they were cleaning it up (at 9 am on a Saturday!) when I arrived.
However, there are 2 cautions I feel I need to mention to anyone staying here:
1. If you book with the hotel's website, be VERY careful and double check your dates. I was booking a night while on a cruise ship, so my WiFi wasn't the best. Somehow, the date I was booking got changed back to the current date without my knowledge, and I ended up being charged for a night when I could not stay, as I was still on my cruise. I only discovered the error when I was reviewing the reservation the day before I thought I was staying there. When I asked hotel management if they could do anything to help with the charge, I was told that they were 95% full that particular night and would not give me any credit for the error with their website. So I've paid for 2 nights yet only stayed one.
2. There is no air conditioning in the rooms. We didn't have a problem in May as we could open the windows, but there weren't any screens and I'm not sure what it will be like once the mosquitos arrive.

Great Service!
Pros:

This is a wonderful hotel- clean, comfortable and centrally located. The staff here are friendly and helpful. We stayed 2 nights, left for Denali and returned for an additional night. They held our bigger suitcases here while we were in Denali and had them in our new rooms when we returned at 8pm 2 nights later. Great service! We highly recommend staying here.
