Very very good location and comfortable place to stay before my ongoing trip.
Very spacious rooms and great location next to the train station and a short walk from the bus station.
Breakfast was good but nothing special.
Location was central to all nearby stations & shops
Everything was clean and fresh, spacious rooms, comfortable beds and great location for the city.
The rooms felt tired and in need of a freshen up. The cold breakfast was very under whelming.
Pillows were very lumpy.
Clean and tidy
Perfect location juat near train station, room a bit older.
The location, right next to Queen Street Station, was as convenient as it could be as my friend and I arrived on the train. The location also made it excellent for exploring the city center. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.
The room felt a bit stuffy, but the provided fan helped with air circulation. The lack of air conditioning was the main downside to this hotel, but it was not an issue for my friend and I - just something to be aware of if you're planning to stay here.
Hotel is run down
Location
Rooms very dated
Lovely old property with lots of character , with a great location
Room was very very hot : the windows don’t open which is understandably as it’s high up , they do provide a fan but it’s old and noisy . As it is so warm it just blows the warm air around . We were given a family room with a door that was locked into the adjoining room and therefore we could hear the people in the next room very clearly even though they were just talking , bad experiences with the manager the first night when bringing this up . But also had a good experience with staff the following night when the iron provided burnt through a shirt and they tried to fix it and then when they couldn’t they paid for a new one and replaced the faulty iron
Arrived to being told by reception that my room had been upgraded,I had asked for a bath and got one which had safety rail yo assist me getting out as I have leg problems and struggle, loved the suite a d staff were lovely
There wasn't anything I didnt really like, though hot breakfast items could be slightly improved for example fried as well as scrambled eggs ,and I know hotel was no smoking ...right so but an outside area designated for us people who do smoke
