Very nice staff, but it is just a B&B with a bar at the momentent.
Pros:

Buffet breakfast was OK, coffee from a machine just warm enough. Spacious room with a bit dated ensuite. Everything was spotlessly clean. Very close to Queen Street Station and lots of places to eat close by.

Cons:

Paid for but didn't get, bathrobes, satellite tv sofa in the room, fabulous view over lovely square. Not the fault of the Hotel that the square is closed for refurbishment(and has been for 18 months) and we were woken by the sound of a jackhammer. The restaurant is only open for breakfast so you have to go out for food.

Pros:

chambre spacieuse

Cons:

For a one night stay near Glasgow’s main railway stations it was ideal.
Pros:

Next to Queen Street station which we needed. It’s a leftover from an earlier era’s grandeur, wide corridors with old style bedroom doors, white tiled bathrooms. The opposite end of the scale from modern build Travel Lodge type hotels.

Cons:

A packet of biscuits would have been nice.
