Disappointed with the room. Very dated and old fashioned, could do with a makeover to modernise

Location, cleanliness & good breakfast

Cons:

Upgraded to bigger room. Split into three areas, sitting area, bathroom and bedroom…would have preferred bigger bedroom space. Lack of air condition on a really hot day made the room uncomfortable. Portable fan in noise was very noisy, like trying to sleep on a runway!! Windows would not open.

Very handy pleasant hotel
Pros:

I liked the hotel. Lovely building, fantastic position. Very Clean, very comfortable bed, great bathroom- big bath and good shower. Liked the shower gels and shampoos.
The staff were very polite friendly and good.

Cons:

A/c wasn’t working but had a fan. Very handy for the train. Breakfast let this down. Everything had that hanging about a while taste and texture. Black pudding not nice. Tables weren't cleaned quickly enough. I did like this hotel but the breakfast let it down.
