Not the Palm Hotel and Spa this is a different hotel, Not on beach

This hotel was not what I expected. I want to be clear that this is not The Palms Hotel & Spa on the beach. This felt more like a motel than a hotel.
When I arrived, the elevator was not working, and I heard other guests mention that they did not have hot water. As a solo traveler, I personally did not feel safe or comfortable staying there, so I decided to leave and book at the actual Palms Hotel & Spa instead.
The room and bathroom were not to my liking, and the overall feel of the property was not what I was looking for. There was a bar/restaurant next door, but the prices seemed high for the type of place it was. To me, it felt more like a budget motel with a party atmosphere.
I will say that the receptionist was very kind, helpful, and professional, which I appreciated. This place may be better suited for younger travelers, especially groups who are looking for nightlife or a party setting. However, as someone in my mid-50s traveling alone and looking for peace, comfort, and relaxation, it was not the right fit for me.

Buena ubicación pero no recomendable
Pros:

Me gustaba la ubicación y la vista que tenía, piezas cómodas con balcón

Cons:

El desayuno, mejor que digan que dan una cortesía pero desayuno no. TODOS los días no tenían jugo de naranja.
El primer día tampoco pudimos comer nada porque no mencionaron en el check in que debíamos completar un papel con el desayuno que elegimos

DIRTY! Pictures not accurate!!!
Pros:

NOTHING LIKE THE ADVERTISED PHOTO'S! They took a large deposit, yet this place was so dirty! Old dirty wall paper that covered up dark stuff. Mismatch of odd useless furniture. Non-working elevator on a 5 story building! We had lots of luggage for a cruise and were on the 3 floor! They didn't even inform us when we checked in and we had all our luggage right there in the lobby! Bathroom faucet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks, and makes you wonder how everything else.

Worst Hotel I have ever seen
Pros:

The rooms and beds are in extremely poor condition, as if they haven’t been updated since the 1970s. The shower temperature is unsafe, the washroom does not function properly, and overall cleanliness is unacceptable. The air-conditioning is noisy, and the service is very poor. They also refuse to allow checkout unless you pay for the remaining days, and none of the issues are ever addressed.

Ants and no hot water - cannot recommend
Pros:

Checked in evening 12th May and luckily had a hot shower as there was not hot water for the remainder of my stay (3 nights). No communication about the issue for 24 hours.
Also had ants in the bathroom and couldn’t contact reception as the room phone didn’t work.
Minimal care from reception staff about any issue.
Emailed to request a refund for part of my stay but this was denied.
Please spend your money elsewhere.
You will need an Uber to go anywhere so factor this in and stay somewhere closer to what you want to do.

NO HOT WATER ON SITE!
Pros:

I wouldn’t book here the front desk attendant Norma was the least accommodating, I’ve been staying here for a week, the hot water hadn’t been working since May 11th 2026 today is the 15th and the most they’ve been willing to do is comp the $20 resort fee, which isn’t worth the torture of unadvised cold water showers.

Would not recommend. Hotel room was dirty and no hot water.

Location was good, pool area looked nice with sea view

Cons:

Floor in the bedroom was disgustingly dirty and left our feet and socks black from walking only from the bathroom to bed. No hot water in shower- reported this to reception and they told us they were already aware of this and having issues with a pipe. We were unable to get a proper shower during our stay.

great staff, Albite at front desk is amazing person and so helpful with a smile no matter what time of day !!!
Pros:

great location, pool area very nice and has great views

Cons:

No breakfast as promised . And you had to order by 6 pm in person for next day to pick up from front desk the choice of coffee or orange juice ,
And a small smoothie or a small little muffin , or a yogurt . That’s it . That was advertised a free breakfast . Horrible scam as far as the offering of a free breakfast .
