Belvedere Swiss Quality Hotel

We got a well-appointed and spacious room with grand views of the mountains and the valley. It was definitely worth the price. Hotel personnel were warm and hospitable, breakfast food was good, location is about a 5-10min walk to the train station.

The only hiccup we encountered was the breakfast on our 2nd day. For the 1st 30mins of breakfast service, they had no warm food available due to an issue with the kitchen. It's not something you expect to see in a 4star hotel.

Great location, only 5 minutes walk from Grindelwald railway station, with wonderful views of the mountains and surrounding area.
Very comfortable in both the public areas and ones own bedroom.
Great facilities, including the swimming pool and jacuzzi within the Wellness Area, and in the bedroom. The latter had good blackout curtains, a very comfortable bed, excellent bathroom facilities and even a mini-bar with the initial contents provided courtesy of the hotel.
We only used the restaurant for the purpose of breakfast during our 3 nights stay, but there was a large and varied selection of items from which to choose, all being very tasty.
The staff were all very friendly and willing to help. There was a great team spirit. It definitely seemed as though nothing was too much trouble for them.

A lot of small details that make a nice stay. Location was wonderful, pool & hot tub were lovely. We’ve been traveling through Austria & Switzerland and these were the best beds & pillows we’ve had

Our stay at the Belvedere Swiss Quality Hotel in Grindelwald was truly one of the most special hotel experiences we have ever had. From the moment you walk into the hotel, you are immediately greeted with the most stunning and breathtaking views of the Jungfrau mountains. The views alone are unforgettable.

As soon as we arrived and saw the scenery, we immediately requested to pay for an upgrade to a Mountain View room — and it was absolutely worth it. We stayed in a family suite, which was thoughtfully designed and perfect for traveling with children. Our two girls absolutely loved the bunk beds in their small separate room. The suite also included both a separate toilet room and a full-size bathroom with a shower and bathtub, which made the setup especially convenient for a family. Our balcony overlooking the mountains was another highlight, with truly spectacular views that we never got tired of admiring.

Beyond the beautiful property itself, what really makes this hotel special is the warmth and hospitality of the staff. Everyone we encountered went above and beyond to make our stay feel personal and memorable.

Our girls also had fun in the downstairs playroom, which included games, a pool table, table tennis, and other activities that kept them entertained after long days of exploring. One of the most memorable experiences of our stay was booking the hotel’s gondola fondue dinner experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and it created such a unique and special family memory that we will never forget.

This is truly a one-of-a-kind property that combines breathtaking beauty, comfort, family friendliness, and exceptional hospitality. We would absolutely love to return someday.

We loved the outdoor jacuzzi and the not kids after 8pm which was really nice.

I wholeheartedly recommend this world-class hotel to anyone visiting Switzerland. I stayed with my family of four, and it undoubtedly became the "highlight of my life." I love Switzerland! The best country in the world!

You can monopolize the majestic Eiger from the lounge terrace. Relaxing with my son over a Jungfrau beer at dusk felt like time had stopped—an elegant, priceless experience money can't buy. It is the ultimate luxury. The breakfast is delicious, and the spa is a superb space ♪ I will never forget the pleasant feeling of taking a morning walk around the hotel before dawn.
❤️ Amazing Hospitality:
Not only did they generously upgrade all our rooms to Deluxe, but I also saw how hard the staff works behind the scenes to ensure guests from all over the world have a comfortable stay. Exchanging handwritten notes with the housekeeping (HSK) team is just one example of how every staff member is full of love and smiles.
🤝 Immense Trust & Teamwork:
The service was so wonderful that I wrote and handed them a thank-you letter in German ♪ When I realized I had lost my custom-made glasses, the front desk team used incredible teamwork to find them and mail them all the way to Japan.
This is not just a place to stay; it’s a place where you make lifelong memories. Next time I come to Switzerland, I will definitely return here! That has become my next dream!
