Pros:

This hotel was relatively close to everything. There was a market nearby and the city center was just a 30 minute walk or so. The room was comfy and came with some Irish breakfast tea and instant coffee. The AC was a massive plus as well!!

I would not recommend during the summer unless you get a room with air conditioning. Only rooms with a king bed have air
Pros:

The property was okay.

Cons:

The room was extremely got even though it was 72 degrees Fahrenheit outside. They provided us with 2 fans but the room was almost unbearable. They also didn’t have laundry rooms which is essential when you are traveling for over a month in Europe.

I was content with my stay at the Skylon and intent to book again in the near future
Pros:

Ideally suited for people travelling from Belfast by car as its easy to find coming off the Motorway. Car parking at the Hotel is a bonus.
Bus stops close to the hotel. Licenced taxis to and from Dublin city centre
Clean room, good shower and plenty of towels.

Location, 15 minutes with bus to the citycenter.
The room was too hot, the window opens just little. They should install airco.

Would not hesitate to book again or recommend to family and friends.
Pros:

All the features of the hotel more than met our expectations. Proximity to the airport when arriving and leaving.
Rooms were clean and tidy and the ability to open windows was a plus.
Air conditioning at 18degrees was set far too high for comfortable sleep. Coming from Australia I would respectfully suggest low temp of between 6 and 9 degrees would be more comfortable as adequate bed covering was provided.
Food excellent and served up by very attentive staff.

Cons:

Lack of top sheet on the bed as one is completely uncovered when one casts off the doona when the room gets too hot.
