Cons:

No air conditioning in bedroom, just a pedestal fan pushing hot air around...slept very poorly.

Breakfast was OK re quality but there were long waits for hot food to be restocked.
Coffee machine out of order.

On returning to hotel at 10.40 pm was told by bar staff that the bar was closed and if we wanted a drink to consult with the night team, having done this we were told that they were busy and it would be an hour before we got a drink.

It is a really good location.

Cons:

The room window was broken so you couldn’t shut it. Only have it open, which meant the air con wouldn’t work.

That area of Brighton is insanely loud, especially on Thursday nights / Friday mornings due to bin collections. Mainly commercial so lots of glass clinking around. I think disposable ear plugs would be a good addition to the amenities.

Unfortunately, I didn’t get a lot of sleep

Not satisfactory, as the agreed services were not fulfilled despite payment being made.
Pros:

We paid for an air-conditioned room, but no AC was provided, and we were not informed about this in advance. Had we been told beforehand, we would have cancelled our booking and made alternative arrangements. This was very disappointing, as we paid for a service that was not delivered. Under the circumstances, we would expect a partial refund to reflect the difference between the room we booked and the one that was actually provided.

Cons:

Any changes to the facilities outside our checklist would have been communicated to us beforehand, allowing us to make an informed decision from our end.

Dreadful, left after one horrible night

Cons:

A/C broken throughout the hotel - and it is built for air con. Terrible stifling heat, unable to open the window due to restrictor. Asked if this could be removed, nothing happened. View of another wall and cables. Left after one night despite paying for two. Ceiling in corridor falling down, shabby decor. Terrible. Not only will I never stay here again, I might never stay in another Holiday Inn.

Avevo ricevuto da voi di Booking una mail dove mi comunicavate che probabilmente l aria condizionata poteva momentaneamente non funzionare. L aria condizionata dal nostro arrivo il venerdì ad oggi non è mai funzionata, avevamo una quadrupla all ultimo piano ed era un forno, ci hanno messo ( con disponibilità) due ventilatori ma sembrava dormire in un aereo , una finestra piccolissima, abbiamo chiesto di cambiare camera ma era tutto pieno, bah ?!? Insomma personale anche gentile ma per noi è stato un inferno !

Pleasent stay with easy access to the beach and city centre.
Pros:

It is a supper located for beach access, you just cross the road to get there. Many small restaurants in the street nearby. No noise from the evening life at the beach

Cons:

Air conditioning was going through maintenance during the heat wave. Not ideal when there is external temperature reaching 34 Celsius. We knew about it in advance and accepted, but would be better to do this out of the main season.
