Pros:

Want or need to stay in Berkeley, but don't want to deal with Berkeley, stay here. Close enough to be a short Uber hop from everything, just far enough that you don't have to deal with the nonsense. Staff and grounds are amazing.

The location by the bay and walking path is quite lovely. The beds are comfortable and the room was quiet.

Cons:

The property is quite sprawling and the parking is ridiculous ($45 and no guarantee that your car will be protected!).

I would say it was 50-50 beautiful but challenging with all the ingredients that were missing
Pros:

The property was beautiful. The pool was awesome. The weather was very nice while we were there.

Cons:

There were several things about the property that need to be improved. There needs to be more receptionist to check people in. they need to communicate that their facility changes phone messages so that you can’t receive phone messages unless you click into their system which they really don’t tell you about they’re supposed to give you chocolate chip cookies which we didn’t receive the room for my daughter hadn’t been cleaned. They had to put her on a different floor that made it very difficult for me to help her with two children. The keys kept expiring and we would have to go down and wait in line to get new keys made which was awful. There was no information on how to use the television unless you had Netflix there was no information on the water to use if it was available there was no information on how to get a hold of the main desk. He tried zero and it didn’t go through they didn’t pick up. I had to go down to the desk several times to get help with different things keys getting a microwave. in other help with the television.
There was a lot of chaos because of constantly having to go up and down in the elevator to different floors and not being able to talk because we hadn’t checked into their system that we didn’t know about, and they hadn’t told us about. It was extremely challenging, but again the facility was beautiful, clean nice but definitely some speed bumps that need to be handled. Thank you so much for asking.

It’s overrated, overpriced and the staff isn’t use to problem solving. Everyone passes the buck to someone else.
Pros:

Not to much. Rooms are dated and dreary. Not updated in years. Toilet are not optimal and need to upgraded. Tubs drip and not easy to turn on and off.

Cons:

Beds was good. Bathroom was a nightmare and customer service was pleasant after I complained to corporate and Booking.com.

It’s in the middle of everything.

Cons:

There’s no Internet connection on level three I had to come out my room and go all the way down the hall every time I want some kind of Internet connection Wi-Fi, which I had to use because there’s no service in that area. It’s a dead zone.

I was not able to do what I needed to do. I had to go to coffee shops or to the lobby to get work done when I wanted to get work done and relax.
