ontspannen verblijf met geweldige service
Pros:

We hebben enorm genoten van onze overnachting bij het Kurhaus ter gelegenheid van onze 18-jarige huwelijksdag. Als verrassing lagen er rozenblaadjes op het bed, kregen we een handgeschreven kaart en heerlijke chocolade. Dat maakte ons verblijf extra speciaal.

Het ontbijt was voortreffelijk en zeer uitgebreid. Daarnaast is het uitzicht op het strand prachtig en de locatie perfect. De sauna en het zwembad maakten ons ontspannen weekend helemaal compleet.

Een echte aanrader!

Fab stay!
Pros:

Great location. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Spa facilities being included was great. The room was a good size and there were many small touches which indicated that this is a high end hotel. View and balcony were amazing.

Cons:

Not all spa facilities were working when we visited. Price of parking very high.

Tolles historisches Hotelgebäude mit dysfunktionalem Management
Pros:

Das historische Hotelgebäude ist beeindruckend, die Lage am Hauptstrand ist top.

Cons:

Unser Bett und ein Bademantel waren verschmutzt, siehe Foto.
Die Sauna war scheinbar defekt und daher außer Betrieb.
Beim Abendessen im Hotel befand sich ein Kaugummi unbekannter Herkunft in meiner Serviette.
Für mich sieht es so aus, als wäre das Management vollständig out of order, wir waren sprachlos und werden diese Hotel so schnell nicht mehr betreten.

Schönes tradionsreiches Haus. Leider wird nur das wunderschöne Gebäude noch dem Ruf gerecht

Das Gebäude ist nach wie vor wunderschön, und der Blick aus dem Restaurant auf Strand, Pier und Nordsee großartig. Das Zimmer war gut und sauber

Cons:

Für ein 5 Sterne Hotel waren einige Sachen schon enttäuschend: Gleich beim Checkin wurden wir darüber informiert dass im Wellnessbereich nur der Pool geöffnet hat und die Saunen wegen Reparaturarbeiten nicht. Das war ein Dämpfer, vor allem weil wir darüber vor der Anreise nicht informiert wurden. Dann hätten wir vielleicht was anderes gebucht. Nach ausdrücklicher Beschwerde gab es einen Gutschein für ein 3-Gänge Diner im hauseigenen Restaurant. Das hat uns zunächst besänftigt. Leider war das Diner eher enttäuschend und einem 5 Sterne Hotel unwürdig. Die Gerichte waren zu kalt und der Spargel schlecht geschält. Auch wie man einen Whisky-Sour zubereitet schien der Barkeeper nicht zu wissen. Im Lounge Bereich der Bar waren die Sessel teilweise dreckig. Am 2. Tag wurden die Betten nicht gemacht, und erst auf Nachfrage gab es frische Handtücher. Alles in allem traurig für ein Haus mit so großer Tradition. 5 Sterne verdient das Kurhaus leider nicht mehr
