It was very accommodating for my family of 5 who traveled from Kelowna to swift current to Brandon mb. The pool was wonderful and my kids had the greatest time. The complimentary breakfast was amazing and a very large breakfast. We had trouble in the start but the gentleman working the front desk was very kind and made our stay very good. Thanks again clarion can't wait to come again next year
I didn't like that I couldn't use a debit Visa for a $100 deposit for our stay. I think it's silly knowing I've had holds like this on my card before. I don't like credit cards and don't plan on getting one. That's it.
No air conditioning on the 3rd and 4th floor
The air conditioning system doesn’t work and the beds have dents and it’s a terrible sleep.
Clean, spacious room. Good breakfast.
The room was clean and we were impressed with the upkeep in the hotel renos etc in the room. Poolside had good ventilation and no musty smell. Fun waterslide and Pool facilities. Loved that staff were always cleaning carpets and pool tiles to keep floor tidy. Check out staff gave us a partial refund for pool being out of order.
Pool had an issue day 2 of our stay and was closed. This was the sole reason for staying here for the night with the family. We were friendly about it, understanding that this isn't always in the hotel's control. The understanding staff agreed to a partial refund when we asked.
Location was good, hotel is clean
Walls are paper thin, noise constant. Not worth the price unless you are only going for the pool. Definitely request a room higher than 2nd floor. Our room was large, but only had “queen bed” which seemed like a double.
Location, food was very good in the restaurant
Our last night a very drunk couple was placed into the adjoining room right next to us, as you can imagine the door has little to no sound muffling! They loudly entered their room at 2 am and the female did not stop yelling until 430am into her phone as her companion had left.
Needless to say our last night was not pleasant.
The servers (all but 2)are not very welcoming nor pleasant! I’m in the hospitality business and I can assure you they would not last 5 minutes in my business. We hire the smile not Oscar the grouch!
I noticed during check in (not mine) the front desk clerks to be very stressed out, perhaps you want more than one on the floor when you are expecting hockey tournament check-ins, as there was a lobby full of people, as it was definitely too much for one person, let alone not a very good experience for your new guests.
I did not have any breakfast…I had an early medical appointment
