Staff were excellent and the food is great although a bit slow
Food was a bit slow
The venue location / setting is absolutely stunning! The facilities were lovely and the staff were friendly and very helpful.
Our room was not the cleanest, a couple of hairs in the bathroom which I know is to be expected but with the price of the room being upward of £500 you could expect better. The room had really thin walls, we could hear everything from our neighbouring room which was disappointing again. Spiders in every corner of the room suggested a lack of cleaning ahead of our stay. Again, I appreciate it is hard to keep all rooms spotless but for the extortionate price of the room, this was disappointing. I had a better experience at Ragdale Hall for example.
Loved the grounds. How welcoming it was for dogs, the welcome pack, the beds and treats, so nice. The bed was super comfy. The views are fabulous.
The restaurant staff were slow to respond.

The spa was overcrowded, the water was to hot, service for the bar / dinner was poor.. and the breakfasts after waiting 45mins came out cold.
We went for a room with a spa pool. It was lovely to put the baby to bed and chill out in the spa in the evening. We loved the breakfast in the conservatory every day. The staff were absolutely lovely and accomodating.
What an amazing place we loved our private suite with our own sauna, hot tub and cold plunge
Location - the hotel is set in glorious everything about the hotel oozes luxury.

The spa facilities were far better than expected, with indoor and outdoor pools and saunas. The changing facilities are small, but my massage was very good. The food was excellent. I love the inclusion of dogs for a full family experience.
Some of the staff seemed to be students and service was slow at times. The room we had was facing the road, which was surpringly busy for a weekend.
We loved everything about this place, from arriving and receiving a warm welcome, to the facilities, the food and drink, and the constant care and attention throughout to make our stay enjoyable!
