An oasis in a busy town. A popular hotel for tour groups.

Still love this hotel overall.
Pros:

We stay here a few times a year. Location is excellent & love the outside terrace. The staff are very good & breakfast is excellent.

Cons:

This time booked 1 room with double & 2 singles for grandsons but were given 2 adjoining rooms which didn’t work for us at all. Rooms weren’t ready for us at 3pm then door keys wouldn’t work. The toilets in both rooms looked filthy but realised it was bad staining- not a good look when u walk in!

Great hotel - superbly located
Pros:

Clean and very nicely decorated hotel with a very good 'vibe' - excellent location and good parking. Breakfast was good value and staff were all superb

Cons:

No air con in my room - although I was aware of the issue, I didnt get a fan in my room although my colleague did, so not a great night's sleep

Comfy beds, nice facilities. Excellent breakfast and location.

Cons:

There was a problem with the computer system on the day we arrived, and we waited a long while to check in and have a room available, with quite a lengthy queue at reception. The shower was also not great - perfectly clean but not very powerful at all.

Lack of transparency over air conditioning refurbishment before booking. However staff were happy to confirm AC was working in the room we booked when we called.
