Location excellent, centre of town over looking river on one side, can easily walk to all central attractions and pubs/restaurants. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were comfortable and spacious.
However, one room, (supposingly large king size) was smaller than the others and without airconditioning or sofa !!! changed after complaining to management. Should not happen in the first place.
The outside seating was fantastic
Had to be move room when we first arrived as no air con in the first one, which they were in the middle of doing. They did give us another room straight away with no fuss
Location is brilliant and the food was very good.
No aircon, however fair to say they are currently undergoing renovations to fit aircon to all the rooms. Just unfortunate that we had a room without it. We certainly would not return unless we had it in future.

Hotel lobby was lovely and food once I got it
Had to change rooms . The second room whilst better than the first had bulbs out in bathroom stains all over the carpet fudge didn’t work . Asked for ice buckets both days never turned up . When going down to breakfast you had to find you own table most hadn’t been cleared so waited both days over 25 mins

Room spacious and nice decore and tv, lighting.
Found out no air conditioning working in room on arrival and as there was a heatwave could of done with it put us on the hottest floor of hotel and heat of room made stay uncofortable. Also no fridge facilities available and needed to store my insulin in one.

Large car park, but because of an Indian wedding with about 500 guests, it was full, and the only spaces were about as far from reception as you could get , which was a long way carrying luggage on the hottest day of the year and I didn't like paying 13 pounds a night for the privilege. I had previously contacted the hotel to see if they had ground floor rooms due to my partner having mobility issues. I was told they didn't , which was a good job because of the noise coming from the wedding I have mentioned. Got our room card and went up to the top floor. Our room couldn't be further away from the lift down a corridor that seemed literally about half a mile long. As I had already mentioned my partners mobility issues, I thought common sense would have allocated us a room nearer the lift. Finally got to the room, and we couldn't believe the heat when we opened the door. Ironically, the air con was being fitted on the day we left ! To be fair, the staff had left a fan blowing over an ice bucket, but it had long since melted and didn't make any difference to the temperature, plus the window was one of those stupid safety ones that only opens a couple of inches. Requested two single beds, but instead got a double with an additional huge children's cot that took up most of the floor space. After all the walking, I needed a cool shower, but unfortunately, it was no more than a trickle and remained that way for the duration of our stay. My partner couldn't even have the luxury of that as it was a shower over a bath that she couldn't climb into. After all that, I may return, but I will phone first to check that our requirements can be met and not just send a message that gets ignored.
