Served the purpose after a frustrating start

20 minute queue to check in
Requested a twin room and checked with receptionist when checking in she confirmed this. The room we were given was a double. We called reception who said housekeeping would come and put it right. They arrived 3 hours later when we were showering ready to leav3 for the evening. Not acceptable

Rubbish but previously been a great experience
Pros:

Stayed at the property previously and love the location and the cleanliness of the hotel

Cons:

Couldn’t sleep all night due to being on the top floor and something on the roof blowing and the scaffolding outside had a ladder left on there and was loosely tied and blowing back and forth.
Also after eventually dropping off being woking at 9am by the cleaning maid knocking the door to clean the room.

Cons:

Room3062. The bath had a terrible rust stain all down the bath which needing addressing. Easy fix!! The water pressure was poor so virtually impossible to have a shower.

Loved everything! Perfect location, extensive car park, smooth lifts and modern, clean well equipped room with walk in shower. Lovely restaurant and efficient, welcoming staff. Fulfilled all my requirements.

Very disappointing and put a dampener on my daughters surprise birthday trip.
Pros:

The entrance and general feel of the hotel was lovely.
The bar was spacious and enjoyable to sit and have a pre meal drink
The staff were all friendly with the exception of housekeeping.
We were given a voucher for 3 drinks in the bar for my daughters birthday which was a lovely unexpected touch.

Cons:

We booked a family room for a surprise night away for our daughter’s 13th birthday, when we got to the room, there wasn’t a spare bed made up.
Housekeeping came and set up the bed but didn’t set it up properly and my daughter didn’t feel safe to move around in it. They never came back with a cup, glass etc. either.
The air con on wasn’t working and because of the work going on in the building, we were unable to open a window. The room was very hot and none of us slept.
We’d promised our daughter we would go back to the room and watch a film on iPlayer but the WiFi wasn’t working so we couldn’t do that.
