Failed To Meet Standards.

Our previous stays at this establishment have consistently been positive, primarily due to its advantageous location, impeccable cleanliness, and the professionalism and friendliness of its staff. However, our recent experience in April 2026 was significantly below our expectations, leading us to reconsider future accommodations. While we have historically justified the premium pricing based on the aforementioned qualities, the recent significant decline in service standards and cleanliness, coupled with another increase in rates, we will be exploring alternative lodging options for our upcoming August trip.

Crabbing at the Beach
Pros:

The location and view was spot on! Exactly what we wanted! The beds were comfortable and it was dog friendly! Siletz Bay is our favorite place to go paddle boarding and crabbing. So we were able to walk to the beach and not worry about finding a parking spot.

Cons:

The breakfast and the woman at the front desk. She was very unhelpful with checking in and was not very friendly.

The lady up front is nice, straight forward, but booking online wouldn't recommend.
Pros:

Idk. I haven't had breakfast yet, but the only thing was I could have my dog here, but on the 2nd floor. She waived the 25$ fee for having my dog. I paid for a king room with a kitchenette, which would've been on the 4th floor with a balcony. I feel like I got ripped off to be perfectly honest.

Cons:

This motel needs a lot of work, not just in the inside, but the outside. It doesn't look appealing or inviting. Slapping paint on the walls doesn't "fix" anything. Changing mattresses would be a great start, bedding should be cleaned, and if they have stains throw them out. Would I stay here again, NO and I wouldn't recommend it either. Also, it would be nice if it stated when booking if having a pet there would be extra charges, so I'm not overpaying on a room I'm not getting.

Lovely location
Pros:

Thanks to those who cleaned the room. Even though the room was older, it was impeccably clean. Im so grateful to relax in a clean space.

Cons:

I liked the guy who works there who helped me make a waffle. He was friendly and kind. Other staff seemed to be bothered to be helpful.

Overall, it is a nice small hotel not overly crowded. It was clean just needs some minor repairs and the staff were top-

I loved that this property is right off of the beach and right next to Mo’s.

Cons:

There’s definitely some updating that needs to be done. In my room the light fixture over the mirror/vanity was cracked and hanging crooked. The chairs that I had at the little sitting table were wobbly and loose. I did not sit in them. There were greasy hand prints all over the door and the walls had something smeared on them that I’m not sure what it was; possibly a bug that had been squished.

How the front desk spoke to me about the after 10 business. Very disrespectful for not explaining how the hotel works after hours. This was My 60th birthday.
