I’d stay there again if given the chance to visit Banff

Comfortable Stay with Stunning Rocky Mountain View
Pros:

The room had a microwave and a bathtub, so we were able to relax and enjoy our stay. We also used the steam sauna and hot tub, which were wonderful. We had a beautiful view of the Rocky Mountains from our room, and the room itself was spacious and very comfortable!

Very pleasant, still under construction though.
Pros:

Rooms were comfortable and spacious. Good location to walk around town… close to amenities.?

Cons:

I drive a pickup and it wouldn’t fit in parkade… so had to park in alley behind and very limited number of these spaces.. felt like I couldn’t go out in fear of not getting a spot when returning . Perhaps reserved spots ? as we have to pay anyways…

Banff Park Lodge has everything you need in one place! It has the best location too!
Pros:

The location is perfect. We loved the pool, steam room and hot tub. It was convenient to have a lounge with happy hour on site. We didn’t use the spa, but happy one was available if we needed it. We did rent bikes on property, and that was convenient as well. We did enjoy the fresh coffee in the lobby every morning.

Cons:

We liked so much about this property, however we did have two small complaints. We did not enjoy the electric curtains. Maybe it was just our room, but the curtains didn’t “stop” part way. Either they were all the way open, or all the way closed. We were on the bottom floor and had a sliding glass door that faced the sidewalk and road, so unfortunately we had to keep even the blackout curtains closed all the time. Would’ve been nice to be able to leave them open a crack.
Our other complaint was the pillows. They were very flat and not comfortable at all. The mattress, however, was very nice.

Wouldn’t have chosen if known restorations taking place
Pros:

Well situated in Banff. When booked (approx 8 months before) did not realise would be undergoing renovations but staff did leave a bottle of wine for our silver wedding anniversary which was lovely. We had booked under the impression that it would be fully open

Cons:

One of the restaurants only served buffet whereas hotel site had it serving à la carte menu which would have been much better for our family so went outside of hotel to eat.

Lovely hotel in the centre of Banff - highly recommend
Pros:

Really nice hotel in a fantastic location with parking available.
The decor is beautiful - more of a 4* look & feel. The bedrooms were a good size.
Lovely breakfast with plenty of choice.
The staff were lovely.

Cons:

Renovations were still ongoing but I would imagine it will be gorgeous when all done.
The air con in the bedrooms is noisy.
Small swimming pool and tiny changing facilities.

Very nice hotel at a good location, great breakfast and pool.
Pros:

We found the family room in this hotel very comfortable and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. We made great use of the swimming pool to play with our children. Only in the evening were there 'quiet hours' for guests who prefer peace and quiet. A very delicious breakfast is offered for an additional fee. I would definitely recommend this. Moreover, the hotel is located right in the center, making it easy to walk to restaurants and such. The hotel is currently being renovated, but we didn't experience any inconvenience from this at all. The section with the hotel rooms was already completely finished.
