Raj Kumar was an absolute joy, and a great bartender. However, we can talk a bar and please tell that person who’s 50th birthday it is to change the dj.

amenities were good, but not that excellent as per the price charged. Food was not at all up to the mark. The buffet had very less varieties of food and desserts.

We had a really lovely stay at Savoy, Ooty. The property itself is beautiful, but what truly made the experience special for us was the warmth of the staff.
A special mention to Raj Kumar — he went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. From small thoughtful gestures to just being genuinely attentive, he added a very personal touch that you don’t always find.
Grateful for the hospitality, and we’ll definitely look forward to coming back.

We stayed at Taj Savoy, Ooty from 28th to 30th March 2026 with kids, and it was a truly charming and memorable experience.
The property has a beautiful old-world character, and what really stood out was the warmth of the team. A special thank you to Titus, the Accommodation Manager, for his gracious hospitality, always present for every guest and for ensuring everything was perfectly taken care of during our stay.
At the Front Office, Jonty and Sharmila made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. Prakash, the bell boy, was always helpful and courteous, assisting us with a smile every time.
The way the team celebrated the Earth Hour was truly outstanding.
The dining experience was excellent. Executive Sous Chef Niranjan curated some wonderful meals, and we truly appreciated his efforts. Arul, the F&B Manager, along with Priya and Adil, made sure we were well looked after—service was attentive, warm, and consistent throughout. The whole team went beyond & ensure all the guests are well taken care of. Outstanding Taj hospitality.
A big thank you as well to the housekeeping team, especially Nihal and Ravi, for maintaining the room beautifully and ensuring our comfort at all times. Kudos to Nihal for thinking beyond and providing the Hot water bags when i mentioned my little daughter is feeling cold. The cozy fireplace arrangement in the suite was perfect setting for a chilly night.
The evening entertainment program along with bonfire in the lawn with Tambola & fun games were so entertaining. The gentleman who conducts the same, sorry to have missed his name was full of life, witty & made sure all the guests participated whole heartedly in the activities. He was stand out performer with amazing entertainer skills.

Raj kumar in restaurant took great care of us during the entire stay and ensured i got whatwver i order even if outside the menu.. he helped hus bu letting us knpw about all good places for purchases local items in ooty.. overall all staff were very courteous and property ia out of the world.. comfortable eooms and toilets what one expects from taj totally meets ur expectations
