Summary: Great location, but the hotel was disappointing due to outdated rooms, maintenance issues, and unpleasant odors

Cons:

Unfortunately, the rest of our experience was extremely disappointing. We were initially placed in a room that felt like it had not been updated since the 1960s. Everything was old and poorly maintained—the toilet and bathtub were outdated, there were water leaks, and the overall condition of the room was unacceptable. The smell throughout the hotel was also unpleasant.

Because of these issues, we decided to leave the room and relocate to the Waldorf Astoria the following day, although we were still charged for half a day’s stay. Another friend in our group remained at the hotel and was able to move to a renovated room, which was somewhat better and more presentable. While the hotel’s interior architecture and historic character were impressive, the poor room condition, maintenance issues, and odor made for a very disappointing stay. I would not choose to stay here again.

Just an ok hotel. The buffet was limited options. The best thing was the location.

The beds were extremely small and hard, very u comfortable. The carpet was dirty, the room and decor were old, the pool and gym were closed our entire stay.

Por nuestra experiencia después de varios alojamientos en china, nos gustó todo ;
-El tamaño de las habitaciones, estuvimos muy cómodos con todas las maletas (en Pekin casi todas las habitaciones son muy pequeñas y suelen ser para 2 personas).
-ubicacion. Bien conectado con 2 líneas de paradas de metro
- Personal que hablan inglés y eficientes.
- Consigna todo el día.
' calidad-precio. En china no hace falta gastarte gran lujo pero en alojamientos baratos te arrepentirás.

Cons:

Hay algún mobiliario ya viejo pero para la calidad-precio, está bien. Mejor que otros alojamientos que he estado en china. Pero el hotel estaba en reformas (piscina, gimnasio) supongo q eso es a mejor
