Pros:

The pool area was ok, needed the swim as the weather was in a heat wave. The night porter was a life saver, we had neighbours who left their TV on full blast at 01:00 and he moved us without us even asking. Lovely man but did not get his name.

Cons:

There was absolutely no air conditioning in any part of the hotel, made for a terribly uncomfortable stay, so much so that we will never stay there again in the summer months. 😒

Like sleeping in an active volcano

We had the misfortune of staying here last night. We had previously stayed a few years ago and had been unaware of the refurb. The refurb had the fantastic idea of removing all air con from all rooms. As soon as we walked in my Apple Watch read 36c in reception. The room was worse and had to practically beg for a fan. The worst part is due to their indoor pool the humidity was worse than the Amazon Jungle in July. It’s a shame as the staff are great and clearly struggling, food is decent as well but unless you like sleeping in an air fryer I would avoid. The receptionist cheerly said the Starbucks in reception has Air Con, there was several times last night I was tempted to drag my mattress down to it and sleep there.

Class of 2026 Leavers’ Prom Celebration
Pros:

Once again Hulme Hall Grammar School cannot fault the service we received from The Village Hotel Cheadle. We return every year for our Leavers’ Prom as the venue is great. The events team are thorough ( thanks Emma & Sarah) and front of house AJ and his team on the night couldn’t do enough for us.
The red carpet welcome to The Inspiration Suite and 3 course meal were all great. We hired our own DJ and decorated the room and tables ourselves- and again, the hotel were accommodating as always.
A great party night to remember- thanks everyone!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💃🏻🕺🏻🪩🧑🏻‍🎓👩🏼‍🎓
