Our one night’s stay at the ‘Prince of Wales’ Hotel was a real pleasure. It was historic, spacious, and comfortable - and good value. Breakfast was good. too. Helpful staff. Thank you! I’m sorry that we couldn’t stay another night or two.

No air conditioning,no maid service,no change of towels
The staff were amazing, especially the receptionists. They went the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed and were comfortable.
The rooms were way too warm. Only one room in the hotel had aircon and that was loud so led to disturbed sleep all night.
Our stay did not get off to the best start, and we experienced a few issues with our room. However, what truly made the difference was the outstanding way the hotel manager and the entire team handled the situation.
They listened, genuinely cared, and went above and beyond to make things right. Their kindness, professionalism, and exceptional customer service completely changed our experience. We left feeling valued as guests, and that level of hospitality deserves recognition.
Thank you to the whole team for turning a disappointing start into a memorable stay. Service like this is rare, and we truly appreciate it.

Unfortunately, no air-conditioning as the weather has been extremely warm. It was hard to sleep apart from now fantastic accommodation really pleased after reading the reviews. I worried about coming here.
