The Hotel is in a convenient location and has adequate accommodation.

Cons:

It is becoming 'tired' in the rooms and such things as the carpets are showing their age. The overall experience was frankly mediocre.

Great leisure facilities and large rooms.
Pros:

Staff were great. Breakfast was hot with plenty of choice. Rooms were a good size and the pool excellent.

Location is all important as near relatives so that is why we stay there.
Cons:

Too many kids running up and down the corridors
Doors too noisy when closing
Breakfast is pretty mediocre apart from gluten free option which is good

Good value and comfortable but a few niggles
Pros:

Extremely comfortable bed and the room was spacious and very clean.
The bar and restaurant were very good and the staff were pleasant and helpful.

Cons:

BUT the electric sockets are in strange places and there are none near the bed. You have to lift the hospitality tray onto the desk in order to plug the kettle in, which is not really helpful; some rethought here would be good!
I understand the reason for the glass tops on the desk but if you have an optical mouse, this is a pain because it won't work. Could you provide a mousemat perhaps?
Also, there are some chips in the enamel of the washbasin, I kept thinking there was a spider ...
The grab handle for the bath is in an unhelpful place, although because of the irregular shape of the room, it might be difficult to alter.
Finally, a small niggle, I would have liked advanced warning that there is no lift; you can request a ground floor room but I was not aware beforehand.
