Horror Nacht! Nie wieder!
Pros:

Das Frühstück war angenehm und völlig ausreichend. Alles vorhanden, kompetentes und freundliches Personal. Das ist aber leider auch schon alles Positive!

Cons:

Wir übernachteten an einem schwülheißen Tag dort. Für mich war klar, ich brauche ein gutes klimatisiertes Hotel, deshalb buchte ich dieses 4 Sterne-Dorint. Das Hotel ist jedoch sehr in die Jahre gekommen, zwar sauber, aber alles sehr alt, die Preise sind nicht angemessen, weder für Übernachtung, noch für den Parkplatz. Keine Dusche, eine Badewanne, in der man sich fast das Genick bricht, wenn man ein- und aussteigt! Die Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht, wir hatten ein Zimmer im obersten Stockwerk, direkt unter dem Schrägdach. Es waren gefühlte 30 Grad in diesem Zimmer, an schlafen war nicht zu denken. Es war eine Horrornacht! Beim Auschecken erzählte man uns vom Ausfall der Klimaanlage und erstattete uns 10 %, wie in der Frankfurter Tabelle angegeben. Soeben habe ich mir ältere Bewertung bei Booking.com durch gelesen. Anfang August berichteten bereits Leute über den Ausfall der Klimaanlage? Das gibt mir dann doch echt zu denken... Ein 4 Sterne-Hotel schafft es nicht in 4 Wochen eine Klimaanlage zu reparieren? Hätte man uns beim Einchecken über dieses Problem berichtet, dann hätten wir dort nicht übernachtet. Wie kann man so etwas verschweigen? Für mich ein no go! Nie wieder dieses Hotel!

It was short but memorable! We‘d definitely go back.
Pros:

Everything was really great! I like that it’s located near the forest so it’s a very peaceful place. The breakfast spread was exceptional 👌🏼 More importantly, the staff are so friendly and professional.

Nettes Hotel auf dem Venusberg, aber diesmal heftige Einschränkungen - da erwarte ich Preisnachlass
Cons:

Klimaanlage ausgefallen, und das an den heißesten Tagen des Jahres - angeblich wurde es ein paar Tage vorher per Mail angekündigt.
Dazu dann noch der kleine Kühlschrank mit einer äußerst schwachen Leistung, Getränke wurden in 12 Stunden kaum kühl - das aber nicht als Ausfall, sondern offenbar als Normalzustand, da die Kühlschränke "schon recht alt sind" (auf meine Nachfrage).

On a adoré le cadre. En pleine forêt mais proche du centre de Cologne. Belle vue sur le Rheintal. Belles chambres et bon resto.
