Will not Recommend as staff was unhelpful and Rude Liars !!!!

Location was great.

Cons:

Staff wasn’t concerned with our room phone, TV and internet. We needed to relax one evening and wanted to watch a show. Tried to call front desk and phone didn’t work. Walked to front desk to explain our situation and they lied about coming to room to help. No one came. We needed to rest as we were on a Long Trip. Extremely Disappointed !!!!!!

Welcome to the 80’s!
Pros:

Very very outdated. There aren’t any usb ports and outlets are far from the beds. There was a power strip but…..Dirty old furniture. Bathroom was clean. Common areas were filthy. Very expensive. Breakfast was cheap processed food.

One bright spot, the staff. Helpful

I was given false information about parking from the Best Western at the time of booking.
Pros:

Great location if you are planning on taking a ferry to the island

Cons:

I was told multiple times that I would be able to leave my car there after my stay for an additional 6 days. When booking, I was told to be sure to let the front desk know my plans to keep my car there after I check out. When checking in, I was told that is not possible and I never should have been told that. The hotel blamed Booking.com for the mistake, they blamed the hotel for the mistake. I asked for a refund or credit and finally got only $17 credit if I use Booking again.

Worth the stay
Pros:

Everything was good, the room location was great, and it was walking distance to the Arnold Ferry. Staff was helpful and friendly. There was a minor issue in the room where some stripping was coming loose on the large dresser and would often get in our way. It was like that when we walked into room. Room was clean and comfortable. Price was in our price range. We did use the laundry facilities and was glad there was two washer and dryers. The breakfast was excellent and had a great variety for everyone.

Staying the night at Aunt Martha’s lake cottage.
Pros:

It has a great view and a modern looking comfortable room. They actually sweep the spider webs off the deck which is awesome so shoutout.

Cons:

The room had no hot water to the shower or the sink, it would get lukewarm but that was it. I didn’t notice till it had been many hours and I was well settled into the place. I’m an adult and able to bath in that, so I did even if it wasn’t comfortable. I mentioned it to the front desk staff the next morning who did apologize but that was the extent of that. I personally won’t be returning, the view is better further out of town imo, you stare at Lake Huron here for the lake side view, I prefer to see the bridge and island in my view. Still a nice lake front view none the less so cheers. For the rate I paid for, on a Monday night, the unpleasantries were expected at the bargain basement price. Keep in mind before you hit book if the rates really nice.

Cons:

Bugs on the balcony were just on overload. Nobody ever cleaned the balcony’s in a very long time. Can’t even enjoy the view because you need a broom to sweep up all the spider webs n bugs

Great location. Near downtown Mackinaw city. Our room was right off the beach and great view of the fireworks there do every Saturday during the summer.

Cons:

Tv didn’t work. Internet kept cutting out. Could be cleaner.

Enjoyed our stay and will come back when we're in the area.
Pros:

The cost was reasonable, the gentleman on the phone was very helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable. The beach was in walking distance and we even enjoyed fireworks. The food was good.
