The staff were so helpful
Die Zimmer sind für Londoner Verhältnisse sehr gross. Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer mit einem zusätzlichen Einzelbett (für unsere Koffer). Das Badezimmer war modern und zweckmässig. Das Frühstück kann auch im Nachhinein noch dazugebucht werden. Es gibt ein kontinentales Frühstück (Toast, Käse, Früchte, Müsli) und die Möglichkeit eines "cooked breakfast" (vegan, vegetarisch oder mit Fleisch). Das Hotel liegt einige Gehminuten von der grossen Ubahn-/Bahnstation "Greenwich" entfernt an der Hauptstrasse - trotzdem ist es hier sehr ruhig und gemütlich. Dafür ist man etwas näher am Zentrum von Greenwich mit dem Markt und allen Geschäften und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Im Eingangsbereich hat es einen Billardtisch und einen Kickertisch - sehr zur Freude unserer Teenies.
Wir hatten bei unserem Aufenthalt sehr grosses Glück mit dem Wetter - das bedeutete aber auch, dass wie eher Mühe hatten, unser Zimmer (v.a. nachts) wieder herunter zu kühlen. Es gibt eine Lüftung, aber die ist vermutlich eher auf niedrigere oder Minus-Temperaturen spezialisiert.
Great proximity to village and maritime museum which is why we were visiting
Noise in the morning from breakfast terrace woke me up at 7.30am which was a little earlier than I’d liked.
The location was excellent, reception very wecoming and helpfull, food good, staff friendly. Visited family for an event and would stay again to visit the atractions.
