Overall, the stay was disappointing and did not meet expectations.
Cons:

We were told we were staying in a newly renovated room, but it lacked basic amenities. On arrival, the room only had three bath towels…there were no hand towels or face towels. The soap dispensers didn’t work properly, and the hand lotion was curdled. We raised these issues with the staff, who said they had escalated them to management.

The guests next door smoked throughout our stay, and the smell drifted into our room. Although smoking isn’t allowed, staff said there wasn’t much they could do. The elevators were also extremely slow, with wait times often exceeding seven minutes, and people would push to get on when they finally arrived.

Pros:

The location of the property is the only thing that would attract me to come back.

Cons:

I’ve been here in the past with my classmates and once with family. So over 4 times. This time there some issues that need to be addressed. I don’t like to complain especially since we were in the blessed land of Mecca, however these are things that need to addressed.
1. Check in was at 4. We drove hrs to come and had to wait almost an hr extra for our room…. Giving us our room at 5, Why? If u guys are busy and need more time, communicate.
2. The room cleaning came only once in the span for the 3 days to my relatives room ( we had 2 rooms in the same tower). Despite calling, they never showed up.
3. Elevators here are very bad, which isn’t something that the hotel is to blame for cuz I’m sure other hotels in Mecca have similar issue due to the large crowds.

I did not like the elevator. They were only three and were very busy and full all the time. One needs to have more elevators to accommodate the people.
