The shower was very nice.

There was no socket in room 411 for plugging in an electric shaver.

The TV remote control didn't work

There was nowhere to sit in comfort and no table on which to write a letter.

Great location for visiting UCL hospital , small modern rooms, query over extra service £

Reception sprung extra 1% service charge on us upon check in , when i queried this as it had not been mentioned in the booking info , i was fed a line about it being something 3star hotels do now ?? , when i pressed further and said I had not been charged this when staying at Euston square hotel previously ( or in any other 3* hotel ) all of a sudden it became an optional fee ? I explained I would rather give a tip directly to the maid if I felt service was good . Check in not impressed I refused but did not seem very transparent exactly where this £ was going and what it was for ?? Did not sit well .
Other than this it’s a great little basic hotel

Lovely clean hotel with helpful staff but not ideal if your room is on the main road

The property was clean and cozy and the staff were very helpful

Cons:

Our room was above the underground entrance so very noisy all night. They had clearly tried to help soundproof with the window cover but unfortunately we didn’t sleep much
