Good position for our needs, pleasant and obliging staff (including the Bar staff), very comfortable bed, easy checkout
Pros:

Proximity to the Maritime Museum, Kings Wharf, ferry to Circular Quay and walking distance to the Australian Museum.
All staff very pleasant and helpful.

Cons:

The room was VERY small. No liner in the bathroom bin.
Although great position, $998 including breakfast for four nights a little excessive. We chose to upgrade to a room with harbour views for an extra $30 per night though it probably wasn’t worth it. We would have preferred an option of a smaller breakfast for less money as we couldn’t do justice to a $25 each breakfast. Good value for those who prefer a hearty breakfast perhaps.

Pros:

Great location, easy walk to Darling Harbour, clean and comfortable. Fabulous view at night from our bedroom window over the Darling Harbour

Cons:

The toilet made water tank filling noises all night. When I tried to report my concen to staff in the morning, there was only one person available to talk to and a que to speak to the staff member, so I dropped my key and left. The Hotel is looking tired and could do with a make over.

Thanks for hosting us. It really was my 65th birthday last Friday
Pros:

Great location. Level 9 was nice. Ibis restaurant for breakfast was average. The bacon was cremated both days and Sunday morning, scrambled eggs were out and something else too. Saturday we got pepper only and Sunday we got salt and pepper on our table but several other tables missed out. Get more salt shakers!

I was overall satisfied with my stay

Location of the hotel is good and peaceful.

Cons:

Slow check in and check out not enough staff, the rooms are very tired and dated. Shower tap dripping and toilet cistern needed attention. Breakfast was a bit tasteless, however the staff very friendly and attentive. There is a saying you get what you pay for and I truly believe this, but surly it is time to give the rooms and hallways a facelift...
