Budget, no frills but with added friendliness and an excellent breakfast included , this was just what we needed. Thank you to the team.
Nothing to dislike. Since the car park appears to belong to the hotel , charging separately for parking seems silly. Just put it in the rental cost. Location of the hotel pretty much necessitates a car anyway.
Close to the train station so in a really good position. Comfortable, clean rooms. Helpful and friendly staff and an excellent breakfast with a wide variety of choice. Great value for money.

Breakfast was chaotic. Not enough tables for guests and they were too close together to move inbetween. Returning to the hotel from the city centre at night involves either going through a dangerous park with homeless or the railway station staff letting you use their bridge.
Very impressed as first time using Holiday Express. Friendly staff, changed our room to a double. Clean comfortable room and bed. On site car park. Good included breakfast.

The staff. All very helpful during our stay 7th-9th Aug 26 and nothing was a bother. All staff day and overnight had excellent natural customer service, so helpful. Lovely clean room. Comfortable bed, pillows and quilt. Dog friendly. Decent breakfast. Not an evening restaurant but you can order food and it’s a good range menu too. Price reflects the convenience but the food was very nice and very good portions. Providing milk at all hours for young toddler etc. location good. Easy to find from motorway, near train station for some of us and 2 lovely restaurants on the doorstep. Nice area and quiet. Decent car park. But thank you to all the staff and making the meeting up of 2 families including 2 toddlers and a dog, a very enjoyable stay!

The food was bad. Stale and dried out. It did the job, but a bit tough to eat. Sausages seemed warmed up pre-cooked. The bacon was rubbery and the scrambled eggs seemed to be reconstituted powdered eggs.
The food should have been cooked more often. It seemed like it had been out for a while, both days.
