It was good.
Pros:

The staff went out of their way to make sure we had a room. When I booked I used a card that had expired by our stay date. They called to confirm and get a card number. I was glad they did not just cancel our reservation.
The breakfast was really good.

Cons:

The sofa bed mattress was dirty.

It was clean, and the staff were very friendly. My son loved the pool and the waterslide. We really enjoyed our stay before going to Mount Rushmore.

Location of the hotel is amazing. Easy to get to, enough parking.
Staff is amazing and friendly.
We loved the fact that it is dog friendly hotel.
What was very cool addition was a fire pit in front of the hotel. We could sit there and enjoy the evening.

Cons:

Breakfast is the same every single day.
There is only so many time one can eat biscuits and gravy.
Also, for the size of the hotel, the dining are is very tiny. I saw people eating in the lobby of the hotel because there wasn't any room in dining area.
The rooms could use some kind of an extra seating option. There was a bed and only office chair. Not enough for two people.

Free cookies free ice and location was convenient

Cons:

Bed was uncomfortable, had to ask for housekeeping multiple times before it was completed and they still did not fill the body wash in shower, floor was sticky in breakfast area, scrambled eggs watery. And had biscuits and gravy two days in a row with no other options. Bacon sausage or potatoes would have been nice
