The breakfast was good value and plenty of choice
Did not like seating in the restaurant. It was noisy with loud music and too much flashing adds and screens. Help yourself breakfast was difficult to manage without a tray when children were running around. Particularly with teapots of boiling water. An accident waiting to happen.
So easy to find, clean, comfortable and has everything you need. The weather was very very hot and the room had 2 fans to keep us cool.
The bath was slippy when in the shower could do with a rubber grip mat.
The location was good, just outside Liverpool. Generally the hotel is to a good standard. The adjoining swimming pool was excellent.
The receptionist greeting us wasn't the best. She didn't explain much. Just a carefree attitude.
The bar/grill was very disappointing. It was 8pm on a Sunday evening and they didn't have much food left.

Rude lady behind the bar on our first night and very slow service. The gentleman behind the bar on the following day was brilliant though

Noise from motorway
Perfect hotel outside the city center of Liverpool. Easy to find, it is near highway crossroads, The breakfast and other meals were delicious. We used pizza delivery in room every day :-)
Really friendly staff good facilties
We had our wedding at The Village Hotel in Whiston. What an amazing experience we had. The day ran so smoothly thanks to Andy and his team. Also thanks to Katie for taking our booking. Katie arranged everything and kept in touch with us the whole time from our booking to the actual wedding day.
Our food was fantastic and excellent value for money. We have received many comments from our guests on how they enjoyed their day and how helpful all the staff were.
If anyone is looking for an excellent wedding venue with a good wedding breakfast, plus lovely comfortable bedrooms we would definitely recommend you pick this hotel. We looked at 9 venues at various costs and each time The Village came top of our list.
Well done to the whole team you are a credit to the hotel. I had full confidence when speaking to Katie. And Andy regarding on wedding.
