The location was good for the reason we were there.
The water pressure and shower temperature was good.
Where to start... Despite booking both rooms for 2 people, both rooms only had bath towels in for one person so we had to ask for more. We later found out that another couple friend staying in the hotel had also been given just one bath towel.
Neither of the usb points next to the bed worked.
The floor felt like the carpet had laid on building rubble, there were so many random hard lumps.
The door closures on many of the rooms weren't adjusted properly so all you heard were doors banging shut on a morning.
The bed was extra special. Two singles pushed together, which is expected. What's not expected it to find that they couldn't be bother to spread the mattress topper over both beds. One bed had two single ones on, and one had a king-size one folded in half. After a sleepless night, rolling towards the edge of the bed, away from the fold in the mattress topper, we decided to investigate and rectify this, so had a more pleasant nights sleep the following night.
They use those ridiculous milk sachets, so if you like a normal amount of milk, you need to use a good 8 or 9 sachets. In a time when we're trying to reduce landfill.
The bathroom was tired. The sink unit was cracked and, where the crack was, there was a build up of grime.
There's one hook for a towel in the bathroom, no rail or anything, so you have to go in search for somewhere else to hang a second towel to dry. If you like a shower on a night and a morning, be prepared to use a wet towel in the morning.
I'm not a blue badge holder, but I'm still confused why they have chosen to priorise the location of the EV charging bays over disabled bays. Disabled people have further to walk, and up an incline, to reach the hotel check in.
Overall, if they let this place get any worse, it'll be no better than a cheap, budget hotel, just with bigger rooms.

The lady on reception was very lovely and gave me my refund as I explained I wouldn’t be staying there. The lady was very lovely and understanding
Everything was dull, room was dreadful, checked in took 1 look at the room & checked out.
It says it’s a village but doesn’t look anything like the typical village rooms !
Loved the location, the spa, the bed was comfy, the room, the service, the food, the price there wasn’t a lot to dislike in all honesty!
We had one snafoo- we paid for breakfast when we didn’t need to. Took a while to get a refund but we did get it back.
Staff were friendly.
The room was cold and no quilt on the bed as the temperature dropped over night. We found a quilt in the wardrobe but no quilt cover. It was dirty. Outdated bathroom and the drain was smelly.
The pool changing room was not of great cleanliness. At 6am the fire alarm was triggered by mistake and it took staff 40min to turn it off. All guest had to evacuate to the car park.. We had to cut our trip short due to lack of sleep.

The hotel was very good, the room was spotless and had everything you needed. And the restaurant was very good with the breakfast we had.
The only thing we didn't enjoy was the noise from the motorway as our room was at the back of the hotel and was very noisy with the traffic from the motorway. Apart from this everything was very good.Ka
