Almost everything. The welcome was outstanding (thank you Markus), the room was what you would hope with a delightful view of the 1st and the 18th of the Huntingdon course.
The staff are amazing, very well trained and this is so rare these days. Our celebration dinner was just superb. My wife enjoyed her Spa day and I enjoyed the bar :-)
So here's the thing. Rachel Reeves has made employing young people prohibitively expensive, therefore I hold her responsible for this. This, is the fact that there were just a few too few staff to cope with the very busy resort. I don't blame QHotels. They are a business and in order to stay in businesx they need to make a profit. If only socialist politicians understood rhis basic fact of life.
Everything about this resort is designed to delight you. It did us.
My family loved it
❤️
The beautiful grounds
Scaffolders at the window- we weren’t informed about this at any stage of booking. Only 2 pillows and cups for three people. No coffee at breakfast and foods advertised missing. Asked to pay extra on leaving due to error by staff the day before. Not luxury as advertised.
The staff
How tired it looked & we had a really old out of date room
Lovely facilities and good food.
Unable to use spa the following morning after 11am.
Lovely views all over the place with the golf course attached. Outside area for dinner was perfect. Breakfast offering was plentiful and really enjoyable. Huge car park too.
The air con in the room wouldn't cool down enough and it was a really hot day, nearly 30 degrees outside.
Beautiful property, very comfortable with lovely staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay
I have no complaints whatsoever.
Beautiful surroundings, excellent swimming facilities especially the slide for my 4 year old granddaughter. Excellent spacious immaculate room. Very peaceful hotel. Super breakfast experience.
Wait for food and drinks in the bar though was half term and busy.
The setting is beautiful, the hotel is very nice, clean and comfortable. The golf club staff are very helpful, and the driving range is accessible to use for children/novices. The adventure firm next door is great! The swimming area is lovely and clean.
The breakfast was pretty average.
Gorgeous venue and surrounding areas. Room was lovely and bed super comfortable. Staff couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast was yummy.
Bacon super hard/dried out at breakfast time.
Clean rooms
Lack of room service
The grounds are beautiful
Nothing
Marcus was excellent.....upgraded me. He is my new go to guy for anyone who asks me about staying there.
Nothing
Location of the hotel and ground were very picturesque
Noise from graduation party unacceptable. Reported to reception however started again a few hours later at 3am. Reported again in the morning to Marcus. He advised would pass info onto management for them to be in touch, but 5 days later, still no contact. Feel very let down and undervalued as a guest.
Lovely building and well kept.
It’s not a spa, at best a hotel with a pool, kids were aloud access all evening so there was no peace, also the restaurant bar staff were rude when they got my drink order wrong, I won’t be returning.
The breakfasts were excellent, the staff were very pleasant. It is a beautiful building with fabulous features, welcoming staff.
My only problem was having trouble finding my way round. All floors are identical and I frequently got lost trying to find my bearings.
