Can't wait to see what the completed renovations look like!
Pros:

The front office team were fantastic. Despite the disruptions caused by the renovations, they were always friendly and happy to help. They did everything they could to answer my questions and make my stay as comfortable as possible.

Cons:

I understand the hotel is currently undergoing renovations, which may have contributed to some of the issues during my stay.

Unfortunately, there was no Wi-Fi available due to the renovations, which was quite inconvenient as I was travelling for work.

Breakfast was quite limited because the kitchen was closed, so there were no hot food options. I also wasn't able to have a coffee, as I'm dairy-free and the coffee machine only offered cow's milk, with no barista-made coffee available.

The bathroom shower had quite a bit of mould and it leaked into the bedroom, so I had to use towels to stop the water from spreading. The room was also quite dark and some updated lighting would make it feel much more welcoming.

Awful I used to wotk here many years ago and has it gone to the dogs
Cons:

Nothing about the stay was good, it does not state they are in the middle of renovations and that half the hotel is closed and work going on and that the facilities are all closed. The pool was green and smelt the gym not available, dinner and room server not available, breakfast was ok buffet style great staff for breakfast, no soap in shower soap bottle it was empty and room was old tired and not clean

Wait until renovation is completed
Pros:

Location and price ok

Cons:

Was not made aware they were renovating until I booked in and was told no wifi available, also restaurant closed, yep ok can cope but when the iron board collapsed as I was ironing my shirt and the neighbours started stomping/throwing things around (I have no idea, but noisy) I became disenchanted

Not great unfortunatley
Pros:

location was really the only thing that was going for it at the time of my stay.

Cons:

The room was freezing, there were no extra blankets, the front door didnt work and we had to ring the bell when we came back late after a Function to be let in. The Wifi was not working. Checkin took forever.
