My favourite place to stay
Staff so lovely. The pool is my favourite
City centre location, close to the train station was excellent. Check-in/out was easy, staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast range and quality was good, and the restaurant/bar was spacious with a decent menu. The bed was comfortable with a firm mattress, and the room was of a good size. The shower looked new and had good power, with plenty of hot water. The wifi was quick to setup and worked very well, with a large desk and comfortable office chair. The iron and board were in good condition and worked well, as did the kettle.
Although the hotel has a gym it is small, with too much disused or old equipment, and no air conditioning so it got very hot quickly. The pool is very small, more for relaxation than exercise. The room's window didn't open far and there was no air conditioning which feels poor for a hotel of this quality; the fan provided was noisy and didn't do much to cool the room overnight. The bathroom and toilet were clean but felt dated apart from the shower, and the carpets could have been cleaner (both in-room and throughout the hotel).

Pas de climatisation des chambres dans ce Novotel.
Les fenêtres anti suicides souffre très peu. Une fois la chaleur installée il est très difficile de la faire partir. Un ventilateur est mis à disposition mais c'est peu efficace. Les canicules et la chaleur ont aussi envahi l'Angleterre. I
La piscine n'est jamais utilisée mais il faut quand même réservé des créneaux très à l.'avance ce qui la rend difficilement utilisable

Mattress was too hard wasn’t very comfortable struggled to sleep, pillows wasn’t great either, room constantly became too warm and stuffy even with window open and fan on, other then that great stay.

Parking too expensive and very hard to drive. The bus lane outside made people so easily to. be fined!
