An issue with the room was dealt with quickly and a replacement room provided.
Breakfast was excellent, staff friendly and the hotel was quiet.

The staff were amazing!
Room was average considering the price, they were extremely under staffed and the staff did well to tun around and make things work for the customers. Very friendly but over worked staff.
Breakfast was nice and so was the restaurant and the food tasted lovely, I also liked the location as travelled up north on the M1 and the Novotel was easy to locate.
Nothing really, travelled up for a wedding and stayed for one night and enjoyed my stay.
The location was perfect for us - the night before an open day at Nottingham University. Close to the motorway (but no noise from the cars) and only a 10 minute drive from the university campus. Staff were friends and the room was clean and comfortable.
There was no shampoo and conditioner left in the shower.

Aircon in room was good, restaurant was good, room and bed were comfortable.
Good size room, good breakfast.
Part-completed repairs in room, not decorated. Air con worked well one night, but didn't seem to work on the second night. Some facilities out of use / run down / unsightly (e.g. pool).
It was clean, a good sized room with a lovely big shower.
Good choice for breakfast. Would definitely recommend a stay.
