The hotel was in a good location, in a quieter area but still close enough you can walk into the centre, bus stops near by if needed too!
The lobby and pool facilities were 10/10, the staff are very kind, and helpful, they also offer luggage storage which is helpful for the day of check out! The bar and food are great, the bar staff are so lovely! The breakfast here is £16 and 100% worth it, the food is such good quality and so many different things to choose from! All around 10/10 for me, would 100% stay again! There’s a lovely outside area which leads you along the river, it’s a lovely walk for the evening after swimming or just to have a little stroll along to see the sun set!

There was nothing I disliked about the property . Just for the swimming people had there phones and where face timing family members while in the pool. I thought phones should not be allowed in pools and it’s not right to be making calls when other people or children are in the pool .

This modern hotel was clean and tidy and it was evidently well managed. It was an easy stroll into the centre of York and all that York has to offer, which is a lot. The weather was a bit cold and damp with frequent showers but the hotel kept the temperature at a comfortable level. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. Our bedroom was classified as superior, it was a good size and had al the amenities you would expect. There was alarge bar area and the restaurant and breakfast area which overlooked the terrace and river was in an adjoining area to the side. The breakfast served from 6am to 10.30am was for us a little disappointing. There was a variety of breakfasts available. We opted for a full English breakfast from a serve yourself bar and was disappointed to find it was rather cold. At an extra cost.The hotel had it's own dedicated car park for guests, which is great as parking in York can be a nightmare. To sum up we had a pleasant overnight stay and would stay again.
What was supposed to be the hot breakfast food, wasn't. It could have been kept at a warmer temperature.
